Would it be odd to name a brother and sister Oisín and Niamh, as in Irish mythology, Niamh and Oisín were lovers?
Or do you think, in modern times, no one would really care?

For me personally, knowing they are supposed to be lovers would turn me off the idea, but for most other people I don’t think it will matter because it’s not common knowledge
While I didn’t know the mythology, now I do (and if I had) I wouldn’t do it
The poll is somewhat confusing because you’ve asked 2 questions. Yes, it would be odd; no, modern times don’t help matters and no, I wouldn’t recommend it. Consider siblings named [name_m]Romeo[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]. [name_u]Or[/name_u] [name_m]Samson[/name_m] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]. It just isn’t done, and for good reason.
