So hubs wants [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] as middle name. I am not supper keen on it, but he is adamant (talked him down from first name status).
So I kinda want the impossible, unless someone can figure this out for me; I would like a name starting with “C” (nod to C.S. [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], one of my all time favorite authors), with the nickname [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] (every time I see [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] in print, I love it, even if the double L names have “jumped the shark”).
So one idea is just to call her [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] no matter what first C name I pick (C.S. went by [name_m]Jack[/name_m] after all;) or to figure a name which would work besides Callula or Calumina (they seem made up and not my style).
Last idea, and a stretch, would be [name_f]Clementine[/name_f] [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f], taking extreme liberties on a “[name_f]Lulu[/name_f]” nn, with only the l being present!
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosette[/name_f]
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
I think lulu could be a nn for just about anything with an l in it:)
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f] is cute.
Ooh just thought of:
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] you could definitely get lulu from [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]
I think anything with an “L” is fair game! people get nicknames all kinds of crazy ways… like how is [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] short for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], anyways? and I know a [name_f]Willemina[/name_f] who grew up as “[name_f]Flossie[/name_f].”
and after all, she’s your kid, you can call her [name_f]Lulu[/name_f] if you want!
here are some C names that might be more believable for a [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]:
[name_f]Coralia[/name_f]
Cluney/[name_m]Clooney[/name_m]
[name_f]Carolena[/name_f]
[name_f]Columbia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
Cecilly
[name_f]Cecelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordula[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlene[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Camellia[/name_f]
[name_f]Consuela[/name_f]
[name_f]Corella[/name_f]
some of them are not my style, but maybe you’ll like one!
I personally like Cluney [name_f]Saoirse[/name_f] the best.
good luck!
Cindilu/Cindilou/Cyndilu/Cyndilou
[name_f]Claudella[/name_f]
[name_f]Claudelle[/name_f]
CydneyLou/Cydnilu
I know it is a “boy’s” name, but have you considered Caillou?
