Which of these do you like best with a brother [name]Leo[/name]?
[name]Silas[/name]
[name]Rhys[/name]- this may be my favorite but last name is only one syllable [name]Winn[/name]
[name]Caius[/name]
[name]Felix[/name]
[name]Lucas[/name]- husband is still thinking about this one
[name]Leo[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] are a little close for me, I think it’s the long E sound in both. Also consider with [name]Lucas[/name] if you plan on any more children you may get sucked into an all L-name sibset.
I think [name]Silas[/name] is the best. [name]Rhys[/name] [name]Winn[/name] is choppy and I am not a fan of [name]Caius[/name]. [name]Silas[/name] is a great choice!
i like [name]Felix[/name] with it. Didn’t one of the name berry founders books actually list [name]Leo[/name] and [name]Felix[/name] as a great set? maybe i am wondering wrong. anyway, i knew a [name]Silas[/name] in college who was great so i like that one too
I like [name]Felix[/name] and [name]Lucas[/name], in part because the L-sound repeats in a way I like. I have a friend with a brand new baby [name]Felix[/name], and I really, really love it on him for so many reasons. I really don’t like [name]Silas[/name]: it always sounds so shifty and underhanded to me, and that long I sounds so whiny. I know someone with a five year old [name]Silas[/name], and the kid is lovely, but the name just has not grown on me even a little bit. I absolutely hated it when she picked it out, and I’m absolutely still baffled by its current popularity, but obviously that’s a pretty strong personal preference.
I don’t think that the last name is an automatic reason not to use [name]Rhys[/name], though for some reason I never find that spelling compelling, and I think it works both by itself and with a longer middle name for rhythm. [name]Caius[/name]–we’ve considered [name]Caius[/name], but my head autocorrects it to [name]Gaius[/name] for some reason, and I’m not sure that the name isn’t a little out there and, despite the bevy of namesakes, a little insubstantial.
I’m always partial to [name]Felix[/name] - I have been since I was little and named my boy doll [name]Felix[/name]. I also like [name]Caius[/name] for it’s originality and traditional feel and it goes well with the traditional yet spunky [name]Leo[/name].
[name]May[/name] I also suggest [name]Cassius[/name], [name]Marcus[/name], [name]Rufus[/name], [name]Cornelius[/name], [name]Julius[/name], [name]Ignatius[/name], [name]Cyrus[/name], [name]Amadeus[/name], [name]Atticus[/name] and [name]Aloysius[/name].
