Sooo berries my daughter’s dad has asked for the middle name to actually be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] & Oyella (pronounced how it looks really) rather than [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. He wants his daughter to have more of her Ugandan heritage represented which I’m totally up for!!
Anyways what combination sounds better…
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] Oyella [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Oryang-Ramage
Or
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Oyella Oryang-Ramage
I completely appreciate that Oyella is more of a mouthful than [name_f]Rose[/name_f] but I think it’s more important to represent her family & culture in the middle names than flow or whatever but still don’t want it to be a mouthful.
Anyways what do you prefer?
Thank you
Just wanted to include the pronunciation of Oyella for clarification as I was emphasising the O sound I think so just want to make sure you lovely berries ace it too to help me! Thank you
While neither has a perfect flow, it’s great that you are willing to honor the Ugandan heritage! Personally, I think [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Oyella rolls off the tongue a little better. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] next to Oyella kinda blends together imo.
First of all Oyella has such a beautiful sound! [name_f]My[/name_f] vote goes to [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] Oyella [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Oryang-Ramage. And while yes it’s a long name, it truly sounds like a regal/princess title! It’s SO pretty and unique Best of luck!
I think [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] Oyella Oryang-Ramage flows better. It’s such a cool (and quite frankly, gorgeous) name, btw! And I love the heritage representation in it!
@elanorelle thank you for your feedback exactly if I was to have more children I could save [name_f]Rose[/name_f] which would be nice! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though I do like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] it is very predictable middle names so it’s nice to have something unexpected
@rhodes2nowhere thank you for your feedback. I think it does sound rather regal and she’ll definitely be the little princess ruling our lives that’s for sure
@winterara thank you when he asked whether we could use his mums Ugandan name instead of what Oyella means which is [name_f]Rose[/name_f] I thought it would be really lovely even though her name will be a bit of a mouthful.
@kidpix21 ah I like that it spells out [name_m]Leo[/name_m] that’s cute he loves lions as well I’m going to mention that to him
