Old fashioned? Joy, Ada, Brenda

I really like the names [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Brenda[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Nancy[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. But I’ve been told that they are old fashioned, do you think these names are ready for a come back any way soon? Or is it likely they will remain old fashioned?

Any variants of the names would be appreciated, thank you

I think [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Ada[/name_f], and [name_f]Ruth[/name_f] are perfectly fine. [name_f]Joy[/name_f] isn’t my style, but it could make a nice middle name. I know some young [name_f]Nancy[/name_f]'s, but they’re in their early twenties as opposed to small children, if that makes a difference. I think [name_f]Brenda[/name_f]'s still a bit dated.

I think these names are lovely and are quite usable!

I especially love -
[name_f]Joy[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruth[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_u]June[/name_u], [name_f]Ada[/name_f] & [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]. Yes, going by the 100 year rule I think they’re due for a come back. If you love them, I would use them regardless.
