We need glamorous, elegant, cool and sophisticated names for our baby if it’s a girl. Something that will be unique, and she will get complemented on. There are plenty of choices but the problem is that we can’t find any that we love.
Here are the names we kind of like but do not love - we definitely need suggestions!
Am”lie [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Olson[/name] - [name]Amalie[/name] is pretty. So is [name]Amelie[/name]! But they are so much like [name]Emily[/name] which is too popular. What about [name]Amandine[/name]?
[name]Eve[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Olson[/name] - I don’t know if it fits the description that we are looking for. We really don’t like te alternatives [name]Evelyn[/name], [name]Evangeline[/name], etc.) - I love [name]Eve[/name], but then lots of people start talking about where [name]Adam[/name] is. Tedious.
”va ([name]Ava[/name]) [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Olson[/name] - (love it but it has lost its originality because of the common
[name]Ava[/name] and we don’t like the alternatives [name]Avery[/name], Avaline, etc.) - yeah, too many Avas which would be perfect, too bad.
Evienne [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Olson[/name] - what are your perceptions of Evienne? I love the nickname [name]Evie[/name], and my family is from [name]Vienne[/name], [name]Austria[/name]. Is it weird though? - sounds like [name]Evian[/name] water.
[name]Scarlett[/name] - Again, we like it but don’t love it. Plus I hate the idea of people calling her Scarly, Scar, and Scary…ick. - If you don’t like it, don’t use it.
[name]Juliet[/name] - I love the romantic and sophisticated feeling, but I have an astranged sister named [name]Julie[/name], so I could never use a name with [name]Julie[/name] in it. - Yeah, that’s a problem.
[name]Harlow[/name] - It’s cool but I am trying so hard to think it’s pretty but I really don’t see it. It reminds me of [name]Harlem[/name]. - I think [name]Harlow[/name] is going to get too popular. It has a ton of buzz on Nameberry.
[name]Ella[/name] - It’s ok but not special. - overdone.
[name]Arabella[/name] - starting to maybe like it, but I’m still not sure about it. It’s very pretty, but so frilly.
[name]Violet[/name] - My husband likes it, but it’s a bit too old fashioned for me. - I love it, but I love [name]Vivian[/name] even more.
If it’s a boy:
[name]Johannes[/name] - may like it - I would love it as a middle name.
[name]Anders[/name] - we get a lot of bad perceptions of this name - there was a very good-looking [name]Anders[/name] on my daughter’s swim team. He went off to college.
[name]Gabo[/name] - I like it but my husband doesn’t - not my style.
[name]Oliver[/name] - [name]Ollie[/name] [name]Olson[/name] might be a little too much for a little boy - yep, too much imo.
[name]Don[/name]'t worry, you got a lot of Nameberryites to help you!
