Oliver has been one of my top names for a boy for as long as I can remember, but because it’s so popular I’ve been thinking of alternatives, and Oleander is really sticking with me.
I have a few questions for you all.
What middle names would you use with Oleander? (I’m liking Oleander Poe and Oleander Wilde but
that’s all I can think of)
Could you picture me with an Oleander? (Does it fit my style, could you see it with the names on my UC)
For those of you that are Oleander fans, what draws you to him?
I think [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is a really nice alternative to [name_u]Oliver[/name_u]. As [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is already a word/plant name, I probably would stick with a less wordy middle name. [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u] is a bit too descriptive for me, so out of your ideas, I would go with [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Poe[/name_u] (though as a [name_m]German[/name_m] speaker I really couldn’t).
I quite like the idea of
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Bennett[/name_u],
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_m]Vincent[/name_m],
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_m]Louis[/name_m],
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Max[/name_u],
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Evan[/name_u],
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Jude[/name_u],
and [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_m]Julius[/name_m]
I think [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] fits in really well with the names in your UC; he matches the middle names slightly better than the firsts but I can definitely see [name_u]Oleander[/name_u], [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] & [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] as borther, for example.
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is so naturey and handsome, and yes, I can definitely see you having an [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] along with your other names! [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Poe[/name_u] is earthy and dashingly charming.
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_f]Fern[/name_f]
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Wolf[/name_u]
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Thyme[/name_u]
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Glenn[/name_u]
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Finch[/name_u]
Oleander is great! Nature name, super rare yet all the sounds are familiar. I’d pair it with a non word/nature name, that would feel like a bit too much for me as much as I adore such names.
Maybe:
Oleander Quinn
Oleander Jules
Oleander Claus
Oleander Yves
Oleander Kit
Oleander Miles
Oleander Piet
Oleander Otto
Oleander George
Oleander Mathis
Oleander Silas
Oleander Remy
I despise [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] just for the word liver being in it. I would literally pay you all the money in the world not to use that name.
[name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is way better than [name_u]Oliver[/name_u], and I adore it alot. You can still use the cute nickname [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] or [name_u]Olly[/name_u] as well so that’s a plus. I could even see [name_u]Lou[/name_u] or [name_m]Zander[/name_m] as nicknames too.
I love [name_u]Oliver[/name_u] as well, and [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] is such a pretty alternative! I think he’d work beautifully on your list. I have [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] on mine
I really like [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Poe[/name_u] and [name_u]Oleander[/name_u] [name_u]Wilde[/name_u]!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it. Much fresher and unexpected than [name_u]Oliver[/name_u]. I also love Olivander but may be too [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m].
