Can’t decide between [name_f]Olive[/name_f] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
Would appreciate some feedback.

I think it really depends on the vibe you’re going for. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] feels, to me, like more of a quirky, hipstery-fun name. I really like it, but I don’t see it aging as quite as well as [name_u]Winter[/name_u], which I like less but is a bit less hipster and more often heard and elegant.
I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u] better.
I think both are nice options.
I am rather partial to [name_u]Winter[/name_u] (I even named a pet this once). Is it for the first name spot?
I prefer the sound of [name_u]Winter[/name_u] but genuinely can’t imagine meeting anyone called that. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a great choice!
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]! [name_u]Love[/name_u] love love that name! Also [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is beautiful in the middle spot, I could see [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] or [name_u]Winter[/name_u] [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] as a stunning name.
It depends on when you’re having your baby. I like both [name_f]Olive[/name_f] and [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. But I don’t picture a baby [name_u]Winter[/name_u] born in any other season but winter.
I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u].
I really love [name_f]Olive[/name_f]!
Personally I do not care for [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Winter[/name_u] and would have it on my short list but we live near a city with [name_u]Winter[/name_u] in it’s name.
I prefer [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. It sounds more like a name to me. [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is very pretty, but doesn’t have the warmth and familiarity of [name_f]Olive[/name_f].
[name_f]Olive[/name_f], a hundred times over.
I’m so torn! I love both equally. I’m seriously considering putting [name_u]Winter[/name_u] on my list, nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f], but I already have [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], nn [name_f]Olive[/name_f]/[name_f]Livy[/name_f] on my list. I would be tickled pink to meet a little girl with either name–what about middles? Maybe I could decide then? As it is, I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Livy[/name_f] names, so I’d probably go for [name_f]Olive[/name_f] for that reason alone, but I like that [name_u]Winter[/name_u]'s a bit softer and I adore the nn [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] right now.
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]. It’s so cute.
I prefer [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] just feels… sour. I don’t imagine her being particularly pleasant to be around.
Have you seen Frozen? Hopefully. To me, [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is the character of [name_f]Elsa[/name_f] while [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. It just depends on which you prefer. Wait till you meet her! [name_m]Both[/name_m] names are lovely and you can’t go wrong.
I agree with niusity, I wouldn’t name a child [name_u]Winter[/name_u] if she is not a winter baby. With that said, I prefer [name_u]Winter[/name_u] over [name_f]Olive[/name_f].
Yes this is for first spot. I would definitely have [name_u]Winter[/name_u] for a mn, just not sure I have the confidence to have her as a first name. I’m ok with [name_f]Olive[/name_f], I love [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] but its just far too popular, [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is a compromise. I hugely appreciate everyone’s feedback, it’s such a difficult decision.
I personally don’t see [name_u]Winter[/name_u] as a name. I know it’s popular on nameberry, but I’ve never heard it used anywhere else. I think it would definitely be more suitable for a middle. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is adorable though!
[name_f]Olive[/name_f] is cute, but with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] and [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] being so popular, it doesn’t have that “wow” factor to me. [name_u]Winter[/name_u]…I hate the season, but [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the sound of this name, plus it reminds me of the Starks of Winterfelll: [name_u]Winter[/name_u] is coming!
