[name]Nico[/name] definitely : D
[name]Fan[/name] of [name]Oliver[/name]. [name]Benjamin[/name] is just too popular for my taste (I know quite a few).
they are all so cute but there is not so many nicos running round
I would say [name]Nico[/name] is the least popular on your list. [name]Benjamin[/name] has been popular for a long time, although it is my favorite from your list. [name]Oliver[/name] isn’t quite as popular, but “O” names are so trendy right now for both boys and girls that it was seems like it is more popular.
[name]Nico[/name] makes me think of a hyper little dark haired child running around.
[name]Benjamin[/name] makes me think of a man that is tall and handsome, but friendly.
[name]Oliver[/name] makes me think of a dirty and stinky little boy getting into trouble.
I love [name]Nico[/name]. I knew a [name]Nicolas[/name] who went by [name]Nico[/name]. So cute!
While I love [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name], I don’t think they have the same European exotic flair as [name]Eva[/name]'s name. I’m going to have to go with the spunky [name]Nico[/name].
I agree with [name]Mischa[/name]. I voted for [name]Nico[/name]. Also, [name]Oliver[/name] is a bit close to [name]Eva[/name]'s name.
My vote is for [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Grey[/name] - I think [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Eva[/name] are tied together nicely with the shared v sound! I also like [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Cross[/name], but [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Cross[/name] [name]Olson[/name] is a bit of a tongue-twister at the end with all the s’s! (and “[name]Cross[/name] [name]Olson[/name]” may end up sounding like “Craw Solson”) Same with [name]Nico[/name] [name]Aeneas[/name] [name]Olson[/name] ("[name]Aenea[/name] Solson"). Without the middle, [name]Nico[/name] [name]Olson[/name] would be two o’s in a row (it kind of blends together into Nicolson). “[name]Grey[/name]” is the best middle name for your last name, I think, and fortunately, it works well with both [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name]!
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Grey[/name] is a very ho-hum name. [name]Oliver[/name] is hardly uncommon or surprising, and [name]Grey[/name] is everyone’s favorite filler these days (perhaps you chose it for more meaningful reasons, but most don’t).
[name]Benjamin[/name] is a pleasant name, but again unsurprising. [name]Cross[/name] in the middle slot-- quite interesting. A religious nod? A popular sound? Something from your favorite sport?
But then we get [name]Nico[/name]-- all the suave Continental flair of [name]Nico[/name], a pan-European name that unites [name]Romance[/name], Germanic and Slavic language speakers, and which would pair beautifully with sister [name]Eva[/name]-- and [name]Aeneas[/name]. [name]Aeneas[/name]! Like, the narrator of the Aeneid! That’s a name that makes you stop and look twice.
[name]Nico[/name] [name]Aeneas[/name], absolutely no question. And I think [name]Nico[/name] [name]Olson[/name] works fine-- it’s not optimal, but fine. You necessarily have to articulate both Os, so they can’t slur together.
I initially voted for [name]Oliver[/name], but after reading your daughters name I want to switch my vote to [name]Nico[/name] [name]Nico[/name] feels fresh and more European and makes a lovely sibset with [name]Eva[/name]. [name]Nico[/name] is much more unexpected than either [name]Benjamin[/name] or [name]Oliver[/name] (which are both great names).
I voted for [name]Oliver[/name]. The alliteration in [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Olson[/name] made me pause for a moment, but I’m fairly sure that I actually like it. [name]Nico[/name] would be my second choice.
Great input everyone! I think I am ruling out [name]Benjamin[/name]. DH likes it more than I do. It is a wonderful name, but I’ve known so many Bens through the years that it just makes it seem like nothing special. I kept it around more for the biblical association - I really wanted to like it more than I do.
[name]Oliver[/name] is a little popular where I live, but it certainly isn’t common. I just hope it stays that way! I love the spunk and vintage charm of this name.
[name]Nico[/name] I really enjoy for it’s cool, suave, exotic flavor. [name]Nico[/name] is definitely tied with [name]Oliver[/name] at the top. It’s hard to choose between the two because they are so different.
I voted for [name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Cross[/name], but knowing your daughter’s name makes me want to change my vote to [name]Nico[/name].
I have an [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Lucas[/name]! [name]Niko[/name] was one of my other favorites as well! Good luck! In my Opinion they are both great names! let us know what you choose!
I like [name]Nico[/name], despite [name]Nicholas[/name] being my most disliked name on the planet - they are very different names from each other. This combo is very unexpected.
[name]Both[/name] [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name] are plain as plain to me and very usual, even if [name]Benji[/name] isn’t. Plus I know a million of each. I odn’t know any [name]Nicos[/name].
