Which name would you choose and why? [name_m]Oliver[/name_m], [name_u]Rory[/name_u], or [name_u]Theo[/name_u]?
oliver! love love, sound and look, timeless and international
rory twists my tongue a little
theo i just dont love the sound, but at the very least i’d prefer as a nickname
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]. It’s friendly, wearable, and makes me think of [name_u]Theo[/name_u] van Gogh.
All three are lovely
However my favourite is [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] he’s just timeless, distinguished, international and sounds soft with a wholesome vibe. It’s weird as I love [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] but really dislike [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] but anyways yes [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
Rory! It’s such a fun, energetic name, and a bit more unexpected than Oliver & Theo.
I’d probably choose Rory because it’s marginally less popular than the other two. It’s a hard choice!! If they were all equally popular then probably Oliver.
Team [name_u]Rory[/name_u]! Mostly due to the popularity of the other two. They are all nice names though!
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] is several miles ahead of the others for me! It’s a gorgeous name - rugged and gentle, friendly but grounded - plus, I taught a really sweet kid called [name_u]Rory[/name_u] so that’s always a plus for me.
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] is pretty cool - laid back but easily be serious. [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is okay - a solid choice and very well loved, but I’ve somehow become very hyper aware of the Liver sound and it gives me the icks (this is purely a me thing).
All three are good choices and you can’t go wrong, but I’m rooting for [name_u]Rory[/name_u]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]. I don’t hear it as often. Followed by [name_u]Theo[/name_u].
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] is my favorite. After that, i would pick [name_u]Rory[/name_u].
Though I adore [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u], I have to say [name_u]Rory[/name_u]!
He’s playful and cheeky for a little boy, cool and laid back on a teen, and rare and distinguished on a grown man. All in all, [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is a refreshing Irish name in a sea of Finn’s and Owen’s, and unlike [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Theo[/name_u], can’t be dated to this era!
I’d choose [name_u]Theo[/name_u], I love that name! It feels fresh, fun and is easy to pronounce internationally.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] I could never warm up to and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] I find quite awkward to pronounce (same as Aurora).
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is by far the best; yes, it may have become a bit too popular, but that is because it’s one of the few very nice boys names, so it will always remain stylish and classic.
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] is ok sounding, and I strongly dislike [name_u]Rory[/name_u]
Wow, those were all on my list! But [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is the name of my son, our absolute favorite of all of those and more, so that’s my vote. Can’t go wrong, though!
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u]. Both great names. I would choose which sounds best with your middle and surname.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u]! Why…well, I met a little [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and he was just darling. So sweet and funny.
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]! [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] is just wildly common and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is hard for me to say. [name_u]Theo[/name_u] is spunky and the meaning is sweet
oliver! it looks beautiful and i love the sound. additionally i have some great associations with it!
rory is okay, but i’ve never really been a fan of the double “r,” and i have some bad associations with theo.
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m] would be my favorite
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] to hard for me to say
[name_u]Theo[/name_u] more nn than first name to me
