Can i ask your opinion on whether [name_u]Darcey[/name_u]/[name_f]Darcie[/name_f]/[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] is a good sibling name for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]?
Secondly which spelling is preferential?..whats the difference??
And finally do you suggest any nice middle names for it, keeping loosely to the british classic feel?
I think they go well together! My preferred spelling is [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] – [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] looks too cutesy imo while something about the ‘ey’ just doesn’t look right to me in [name_u]Darcey[/name_u].
Some ideas (I’ve tried not to repeat any of @leafsgirl44’s great suggestions):
I’m not a fan of [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] but I think it definitely works with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]. My favorite spelling is [name_f]Darcie[/name_f].
I think they’re fine together! My order of preference with spelling would be [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] first, then [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] in a close second, and I don’t particularly like the look of [name_u]Darcey[/name_u].
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u] was on our list for [name_f]Olive[/name_f]!
I decided on the [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] spelling as it is the original. I think [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] spelling will better suit more classic [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
I really like the suggestions [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f], [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
I’m not that keen on it, but I definitely prefer the [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] spelling. [name_f]Darcie[/name_f] is sweet and more feminine, but a little too cutesie with the -ie ending, and [name_u]Darcey[/name_u] looks a bit off. [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] comes to mind.
I love [name_u]Darcy[/name_u]. I think it goes best with [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] if she went by [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. [name_f]Liv[/name_f] and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] makes a great pair, but even if she doesn’t go by [name_f]Liv[/name_f], I’d still say go for it.
