First, I know [name]Olivia[/name] is super popular, but my husband and I really love it and it was hard enough to agree on a name So we’re fine with it. My question is more about the middle name.
[name]Belle[/name] would not have been my first choice, but I’d like to do it to honor my late Grandmother ([name]Arabelle[/name]) whom I was very close to. Her birthday is also 5 days after my due date, so there’s a chance the baby will be born very close to that. So does [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Belle[/name] sound like a good combo? I think [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Arabelle[/name] is a little too much with the double A’s and length…and my Grandmother went by [name]Belle[/name].
Other thoughts were [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Kate[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Elise[/name], or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name]…I love [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] but I’m afraid that combo is too overused. I prefer a short middle name as our last name is 3 syllables and [name]Olivia[/name] is 4. (I know [name]Catherine[/name] is long, but I still considered it)
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is cute. I think [name]Belle[/name] honors your grandmother very nicely, and [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Belle[/name] flows well. I do love [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] more, but if honoring your grandmother matters to you more (it would matter to me more!), I would definitely go for that. If you didn’t have such a long surname, I would suggest something like [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Grace[/name] [name]Arabelle[/name] or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Catherine[/name] [name]Belle[/name], but if you’re already worried about your surname, I don’t think adding a second middle would really help, haha.
[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Belle[/name] is wonderful! [name]Belle[/name] is one of my favorite one - syllable choices for the middle and I think it pairs beautifully with [name]Olivia[/name], plus it has the benefit of having big significance to you, which makes it perfect.
I love it. [name]Belle[/name] is among my favorite one-syllable names, probably among my favorite middle names in general. I think it sounds lovely with [name]Olivia[/name]!
So we’re fine with it. My question is more about the middle name.
