I like [name]Omri[/name]. Feels surprising yet ancient to me. [name]Olin[/name] has a nice Scandinavian thing going for it, but it’s more delicate than [name]Omri[/name].
[name]Odin[/name]? Too [name]Pagan[/name]/mythological for you?
My hubs is actually a big Norse mythology fan. But [name]Odin[/name] is a very heavy name and might overpower my other son who is [name]Nils[/name]. I thought [name]Nils[/name] and [name]Olin[/name] had a nice ring to it but I cant get over my love of [name]Omri[/name]
Really like [name]Olin[/name] [name]Michael[/name]. [name]Omri[/name] [name]Jon[/name] sounds a little short to me and [name]Omri[/name] [name]Michael[/name] has too much of a repetitive sound.
I don’t mind either name but I think I prefer the more unexpected [name]Omri[/name] more with a brother named [name]Nils[/name]. That way if you have any more children, you wouldn’t feel any pressure to follow a Norse name pattern. I’ve heard “OM-ree” and “OM-rye” as pronunciations for this name. [name]How[/name] are you pronouncing it?
