On the fence between similar names

[name]Hi[/name] its took quite some time to narrow down a list of boys and girls names. But the problem is I can’t decide between them in that these names are similar.
I like strong masculine boys names that are also sensitive, yet unique rather unusual and definately not main stream or too popular.
In theory I like old timeless classics with the middle names either [name]James[/name],[name]Montgomery[/name],[name]Daniel[/name] and [name]Adam[/name].
I like girls names to hold their own but still be considered old classics that are feminine but not frilly.I would consider using the middle names of [name]Aquinnah[/name] and [name]Jessamine[/name].

[name]Evangeline[/name] or [name]Evangelina[/name]
[name]Evelia[/name] or just plain old [name]Eve[/name]
Slaine and [name]Sloane[/name] or neither undecided
Not so old [name]Adria[/name] and [name]Adrianna[/name]
The unique Bellance and [name]Bellamy[/name]
All the above choices are for girls

Boys are much tougher there are so many to choose from
[name]Bartley[/name] or [name]Hartley[/name]
[name]Damien[/name] or [name]Damon[/name]
[name]Sorrel[/name] or Sorren
[name]Slater[/name] or [name]Slade[/name]
[name]Laszlo[/name] ,Laz or [name]Lazarus[/name], Rus
Irish [name]Finnian[/name] or [name]Finnegan[/name]
[name]Jet[/name] or [name]Jethro[/name]
[name]Slater[/name] or [name]Slade[/name]
[name]Judah[/name] or [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Jagger[/name] or [name]Jago[/name]

I also like Natural names,European I love Irish names but I’m not opposed to Biblical names either.

I have this problem, as well. Mostly for the girls. Many of them have the -[name]INA[/name]/INE or -[name]LIA[/name] endings.

[name]Evangeline[/name] or [name]Evangelina[/name] - Depends on the middle and last name. [name]Evangeline[/name] is my pick, though. Ultimately simpler while being exceptionally classy.
[name]Evelia[/name] or just plain old [name]Eve[/name] - Still go with [name]Evangeline[/name] for [name]Eve[/name].
Slaine and [name]Sloane[/name] or neither undecided - Neither.
Not so old [name]Adria[/name] and [name]Adrianna[/name] - [name]Adriana[/name] out of the two.
The unique Bellance and [name]Bellamy[/name] - [name]Bellamy[/name].

Boys are much tougher there are so many to choose from
[name]Bartley[/name] or [name]Hartley[/name] - [name]Hartley[/name], I guess.
[name]Damien[/name] or [name]Damon[/name] - [name]Damien[/name].
[name]Sorrel[/name] or Sorren - [name]Soren[/name]. One R.
[name]Slater[/name] or [name]Slade[/name] - [name]Slade[/name], I suppose.
[name]Laszlo[/name] ,Laz or [name]Lazarus[/name], Rus - [name]Lazarus[/name].
Irish [name]Finnian[/name] or [name]Finnegan[/name] - [name]Finnian[/name]
[name]Jet[/name] or [name]Jethro[/name] - [name]Jet[/name]
[name]Judah[/name] or [name]Jude[/name] - [name]Jude[/name].
[name]Jagger[/name] or [name]Jago[/name] - [name]Jagger[/name].

Overall I like [name]Evangeline[/name]…You could call her [name]Eve[/name], or [name]Evie[/name] for short, and it would combine at least 3 of the names you liked.

I really like [name]Damien[/name], [name]Lazarus[/name] and Sorren for your boys names.

best of luck!!

Here are my favorites from your girl’s names:

[name]Evangeline[/name]- This is timeless, sophisticated, and gorgeous. You could call her [name]Eve[/name] or [name]Evie[/name] for short. While [name]Evangelina[/name] has the same charm and feel, the extra syllable makes it a little too much for me.

[name]Eve[/name]- This is short and sweet. However, I think you should stick with [name]Evangeline[/name] and call her [name]Eve[/name] for short. [name]Evelia[/name] has a pretty sound, but it’s one of those names I could see being used for a villain in a Disney movie (b/c of the “evil” part in the pronunciation).

Neither- Slain (no E) is the past participle of slay. If you chose this name, you would essentially be naming your child ‘dead’ or ‘killed’. This is much too brutal to be a name. Although the E makes [name]Sloan[/name] look slightly more feminine, [name]Sloan[/name] will always be a boy’s name to me.

[name]Adria[/name]- I’m not too big on either name, but this is the prettiest of the two I think.

[name]Bellamy[/name]- I don’t like surname names on girls, but I think this is one that could work. I can’t imagine any parents naming their son [name]Bellamy[/name] unless it was a family name. Bellance just seems silly to me.

I have a hard time deciding between boy’s names too! I like them much more than girl’s names. Here are my favorites:

[name]Hartley[/name]- nn [name]Hart[/name] is much better than nn [name]Bart[/name]
[name]Damon[/name]- [name]Damien[/name] will forever remind me of The Omen. [name]Damon[/name] is a strong, handsome choice.
Sorren- With one R though
[name]Slade[/name]- [name]Slater[/name] sounds odd as a name
[name]Lazarus[/name]- Strong, masculine, and sadly underused
[name]Finnegan[/name]- I’m biased, as I know an adorable little boy named [name]Finnegan[/name]
[name]Jethro[/name]- The nn [name]Jet[/name] could totally make this an awesome name
[name]Jude[/name]- I love The Beatles
[name]Jagger[/name]- Although [name]Mick[/name] [name]Jagger[/name] may not be the best namesake…

[name]Evangeline[/name] or [name]Evangelina[/name] - I prefer [name]Evangeline[/name]. [name]Evangeline[/name] is already pretty feminine as it is and I just think that [name]Evangelina[/name] is a bit over the top and kind of a mouth-full. [name]Evangeline[/name] is also just one of my favorite names, so beautiful and classic.

[name]Evelia[/name] or just plain old [name]Eve[/name] - Hmm…[name]Evelia[/name] brings to mind “evil”. I love [name]Eve[/name]. It’s simple and sweet but also girly. But between [name]Eve[/name] and [name]Evangeline[/name] I’d choose [name]Evangeline[/name].

Slaine and [name]Sloane[/name] or neither undecided - Slaine is way to similar to the word Slain, meaning “killed”. I love the name [name]Sloane[/name], though it’s much less feminine than the other names here.

Not so old [name]Adria[/name] and [name]Adrianna[/name] - I’m not sold on either of these names either, but they are both prety. I like [name]Adria[/name] because it’s more unusual, where as [name]Adrianna[/name] is on the rise.

The unique Bellance and [name]Bellamy[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Bellamy[/name]! Bellance sounds too much like the word Balance to me. [name]Bellamy[/name] is pretty but strong.

Of your girls names [name]Evangeline[/name] and [name]Bellamy[/name] are winners!

Boys:
[name]Bartley[/name] or [name]Hartley[/name] - [name]Hartley[/name]. [name]Bartley[/name] sounds like [name]Barley[/name]. [name]Hartley[/name] is strong and handson.

[name]Damien[/name] or [name]Damon[/name] - I prefer [name]Damon[/name], but [name]Damien[/name] is nice as well. Neither are personal favorites of mine.

[name]Sorrel[/name] or Sorren - [name]Don[/name]'t love either, though Sorren is cool. The emphasis on “sore” makes the name a bit awkward for me.

[name]Slater[/name] or [name]Slade[/name] - [name]Slater[/name] just reminds me of “Saved by the [name]Bell[/name]”. [name]Slade[/name] is very cool!

[name]Laszlo[/name] ,Laz or [name]Lazarus[/name], Rus - i love [name]Laszlo[/name]! Laz is so cool!

Irish [name]Finnian[/name] or [name]Finnegan[/name] - I like both, but I think [name]Finnian[/name] is cooler and cleaner sounding.

[name]Jet[/name] or [name]Jethro[/name] - [name]Jet[/name] is super cool. I’d go with the [name]Jett[/name] spelling though.

[name]Judah[/name] or [name]Jude[/name] - [name]Judah[/name]! [name]Love[/name] [name]Judah[/name]!

[name]Jagger[/name] or [name]Jago[/name] - Hmm, between the two I’d pick [name]Jagger[/name]. But in reality I don’t love either as a name.

From your list I think [name]Laszlo[/name], [name]Jett[/name], [name]Judah[/name] and [name]Slade[/name] are great choices!
[name]Hope[/name] that helps!

In theory I like old timeless classics with the middle names either [name]James[/name],[name]Montgomery[/name],[name]Daniel[/name] and [name]Adam[/name].

I love [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Evangelina[/name] and [name]Eve[/name]. The first two are gorgeous in a long, flowy way; [name]Eve[/name] is gorgeous too, and can seem sophisticaed, sweet, mysterious, so much packed into it. My only issue with [name]Eve[/name] is that it doesn’t always flow with other names. Of these three the best fit with your middle names is [name]Evangeline[/name] [name]Aquinnah[/name]. (Evanglina is also a bit frillier).

[name]Adria[/name] and [name]Adrianna[/name] seem somewhat overdone to me, not terribly interesting. [name]Bellamy[/name] is fun, but I like the [name]Eve[/name] names much more. [name]Evelia[/name] just seems strange and made up. [name]Sloane[/name] and Slaine aren’t pretty, and Slaine means killed, as others mentioned…

I like: [name]Hartley[/name], [name]Damien[/name], [name]Sorrell[/name], [name]Lazarus[/name], and [name]Jethro[/name]. I love [name]Judah[/name]! It’s one of my favorites and would sound great with [name]Montgomery[/name] (and very nice with the other three middles as well).
[name]Hartley[/name] is handsome and different; [name]Bartley[/name]–the [name]Bart[/name] turns me off. I’m not fond of [name]Soren[/name] (a [name]Star[/name] Trek episode where [name]Soren[/name] was a unisex character may influence my feelings of the name), whereas [name]Sorrell[/name] is different and interesting. [name]Damien[/name] makes me think of the priest who ministered to the Hawaiian lepers. [name]Slater[/name] sounds like “one who slates” (?) and [name]Slade[/name] is not appealing to me. [name]Laszlo[/name] is all right but [name]Lazarus[/name] is offbeat and cool. [name]Finnian[/name] and [name]Finnegan[/name] aren’t my style. [name]Jet[/name] is okay but [name]Jethro[/name] (like [name]Lazarus[/name]) is a neat, underused Biblical name. [name]Jude[/name] is handsome but I don’t find it nearly as interesting and distinguished as [name]Judah[/name]. [name]Jagger[/name] I don’t like; [name]Jago[/name] is interesting and kinda fun but I think you’ll have issues with pronunciation.
