I am 21 weeks along with baby girl, and we have decided on the name Aniella. It is the polish version of [name]Angela[/name] and was my great grandmothers name. It was originally spelled Aniela, but the hubs and I are thinking of adding an L to help with pronunciation and making it Aniella. What do you think?
Also, we need help coming up with her middle name. The top contender at this point is Aniella [name]Juniper[/name]. It has special meaning to us since the hubs is a forester and we live in the mountains of [name]New[/name] Mexico with lots of juniper trees around.
I’d love to hear any suggestions for other middle names for our little miss! We love nature names, but are also open to others. So excited to hear your ideas!
I personally prefer Aniela with one L, it is a beautiful name and I don’t think it is hard to pronounce. I love the name [name]Juniper[/name] as well, one of my favorite “nature” names. Aniella looks a little fake to me, but the one L is simple darling, a lovely name.
I also like one L. Aniela [name]Juniper[/name] is a good name. I like that [name]Juniper[/name] means something special to you. But since you asked for more ideas, these middles are all found in [name]New[/name] Mexico…
Aniela [name]Aspen[/name] (the quaking aspen)
Aniela [name]Olive[/name] ([name]New[/name] Mexico olive aka forestiera)
Aniela [name]Willow[/name] (the desert willow)
Aniela [name]Sage[/name] (sagebrush)
Aniela [name]Marigold[/name] (the showy desert marigold)
Aniela [name]Cedar[/name] (the [name]Rocky[/name] Mountan red cedar)
Aniela [name]Coral[/name] (the coral yucca)
Aniela [name]Primrose[/name] (the Mexican evening primrose)
Aniela [name]Fern[/name] (fernbush)
Aniela [name]Silver[/name] (silverberry, also the silver deposits in the mountains)
Aniela [name]Hawthorn[/name] (the [name]Indian[/name] hawthorn)
Aniela [name]Verde[/name] (beautiful [name]Mesa[/name] [name]Verde[/name], means “green” like a forest)
Aniela [name]Dune[/name] (like the beautiful dunes of White Sands Natl [name]Park[/name])
I agree with all of the above posters. [name]One[/name] L just looks correct to me. Two L’s, while pretty, looks made-up. Aniela [name]Juniper[/name] is beautiful. Congratulations!
