[name]Corinne[/name] for me. It’s hauntingly beautiful.
Agree with [name]Ottilie[/name]. [name]Corinne[/name] is beautiful. [name]Isla[/name] is too, but it’s getting so trendy I feel it will get very popular and then sound dated fast. [name]Corinne[/name] feels timeless. It’s evocative and haunting.
I chose [name]Corinne[/name]. While I like [name]Isla[/name] it seems cute, but maybe a little on the trendy side. Whereas I can see [name]Corinne[/name] on a baby, a kindergartener, a teenager, and an adult. Good luck!
I met my first [name]Corrine[/name] in junior high, and suddenly there were two of them in my class! [name]How[/name] weird is that! But my point is that it was being given to babies about 20 years ago and yet hasn’t gotten so popular that i’s a trend. I’ve heard of babies named [name]Corinne[/name] over the years, but it’s been a steady stalwart of feminine beauty without the conventional sounds. I love it.
Why isn’t the beautiful [name]Isla[/name] receiving much love in this poll? I think she is lovely and very feminine. I like [name]Corinne[/name] probably like [name]Corinna[/name] more but out of these two an unhesitating Yes to [name]Isla[/name].
rollo
I love the name [name]Corinne[/name]. I think it’s a wonderful, timeless choice. It’s actually my own name and I wouldn’t want any other.
On their own, I like [name]Corinne[/name]. I can actually see a little girl, a teenager, a grown woman with the name. I think [name]Isla[/name] has this beautiful presence, but I honestly can’t see [name]Isla[/name] being worn by anyone. It is a pretty name, though. I think [name]Isla[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is a lovely combo–[name]Corinne[/name] [name]Isla[/name] would be pretty, too, but not as charming as [name]Isla[/name] [name]Corinne[/name], imo. But [name]Corinne[/name] still gets my vote.
I do like [name]Isla[/name] a lot, but [name]Corinne[/name] is more unusual and underused and just as pretty [name]IMO[/name]. [name]Isla[/name] [name]Corinne[/name] is gorgeous, though, so if you need a middle, that combination would get my vote!
[name]Corinne[/name] is lovely!
[name]Corinne[/name]! [name]Isla[/name] is lovely, but I think it’s a bit trendier and more expected than [name]Corinne[/name].
I agree that [name]Isla[/name] is a bit on the trendy side, but it is very beautiful. I know a [name]Corinne[/name] and the association is such that I will never like this name because of it, so I just can’t see the beauty in it for that reason, unfortunately. If it were [name]Corinna[/name] vs. [name]Isla[/name], I would have voted for [name]Corinna[/name], even though I’m not totally sure I know how to pronounce it.
[name]Corinne[/name] has spunk and strength; [name]Isla[/name] is floppy and lacks substance to me.
[name]Corinne[/name] got my vote I think it sounds more dignified and will serve your daughter better into adulthood
I love the name [name]Isla[/name]… so beautiful and timeless.
[name]Corrine[/name]! It’s my sister’s name though I have never met another [name]Corrine[/name] though. I know two baby Islas. I agree that you could use [name]Isla[/name] as a mn for [name]Corrine[/name].
I think both names are beautiful. Tough choice. I have a relative through marriage whose middle name is [name]Corinne[/name] (first name [name]Janet[/name]) – born in the 1940s – whose husband chose to call her [name]Corinne[/name] because he liked it so much.
[name]Isla[/name] has my vote!
I vote [name]Isla[/name], I love the sound and the heritage and I think all the [name]Cora[/name]/[name]Corinne[/name] comment on this site mean the names are going to climb up the popularity charts.
I have always loved [name]Corinne[/name] or [name]Corinna[/name]. I prn [name]Cor[/name] in. Some sites have it listed as [name]Cor[/name] een. I think they must be wrong…lol!
