First of all, I want to thank all of you who responded to my previous posts and apologize for not thanking you individually.
I am 40 weeks now and baby girl can arrive anytime now. We however could not come up with one solid name and decided to take it easy and wait until we see her face. I am not too sure if this approach really helps! So I am trying to do my best to finialize our decision. Your opinion matters of course and I need you to once again share your vote and reason for the following names. Big brother is Arlo.

We love Alara the most, the only issue is that we got a lot of feedback that its going to be mouthful to say the names of Alara and Arlo back to back…. But still couldn’t omit it from the list. Aria is also a great choice to go with Arlo but we have it in the family so kind of hesitant to go with it. But your votes can change our minds.
I really appreciate you opinion and reasoning for each of the names above.
I was going to advise against [name_f]Alara[/name_f] because it’s so similar to [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] but after reading that you have heard this before and still can’t let go of it, I’d say that’s a sign. To me it sounds like [name_f]Alara[/name_f] is the one you want. I think you should go for it.
Thank you for the feedback. You also responded to my previous post with same suggestion. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is the one that my husband and I both have same opinions and we both love.
Spontaneously I was between [name_f]Lara[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]. To me [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] feels more special, but I know that’s just because I grew up with lots Lara/Laura/Lena/Lisa//Luisa around me, and you probably didn’t so [name_f]Lara[/name_f] might feel fresher to you.
Initially I thought that [name_f]Alara[/name_f] and [name_u]Aria[/name_u] are too similar to [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] for my liking, but it seems like you both really love [name_f]Alara[/name_f] and you might be able to get past the fact that they sound similar. Between [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lara[/name_f] my vote would go to [name_f]Lilia[/name_f]! Though I do think that if you guys can’t get past the similar sounds of [name_f]Alara[/name_f] and [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], [name_f]Lara[/name_f] may be better for you as it’s very similar to [name_f]Alara[/name_f]!

[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] feels great with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]! They have a very similar feel and vibe, without sounding too similar (which, in my opinion, all other names on your list do).
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is definitely the most distinct from [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], but [name_f]Lara[/name_f] is my personal favourite of the options listed! I can see how [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_f]Alara[/name_f] or [name_u]Aria[/name_u] might be a bit of a mouthful to say with brother Arlo’s name.
Overall, [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] seems like a strong choice here!
[name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is for sure the best pick IMO.
But if you want alliterative with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], I would go with [name_f]Alara[/name_f].
Would you want to do something like [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_f]Alara[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] or [name_f]Alara[/name_f] [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] ? I don’t typically like double middle names myself but both of these sound lovely!

I vote for [name_f]Lara[/name_f]! It is so sophisticated, underused and it ages well. It has the same vibe to me as [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]. I also like [name_u]June[/name_u] as a first name and think it would be super sweet on a little girl.
Tbh I prefer to have just one middle name. But I love [name_u]June[/name_u] so much that it can be first name too. However, dh only likes [name_u]June[/name_u] for middle!
Both A names, [name_u]Aria[/name_u] especially, feel too similar to [name_u]Arlo[/name_u]. Of the L names I personally prefer [name_f]Lara[/name_f] but both are lovely so I would rank them [name_f]Lara[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f], [name_f]Alara[/name_f], and [name_u]Aria[/name_u] last.
[name_f]Alara[/name_f] is such a gorgeous name. I think it could work with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u], as I think I said on your previous post too. However, with [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] on the table, I feel she is the clearer choice. [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is a stunning name and stunning with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u].
I hope you do look at her little face and have her name jump right out at you!
