I’m happy to say I have finally decided on a middle name for baby #2! [name_f]My[/name_f] first is a boy named [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_m]David[/name_m], and my girl name for this baby is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. I was torn between [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] and [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f], but have ultimately decided to choose [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] (I’m very easily swayed. Let me know if you disagree with this choice!)
I was thinking though, which combo sounds more stunning with a 3-syllable last name like [name_u]Anderson[/name_u]?
I love double middle names but I just don’t think [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] flows smoothly enough & [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is gorgeous!!
Personally yes because I think [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] makes the name have a more traditional and weighted feel to it, whereas [name_f]Belle[/name_f] makes it sound more like a princess type of name. Nothing wrong with either and they are both absolutely pretty names, but I prefer the traditional sounding approach. Also you did such a good job picking the name [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]!!! It’s just so extremely cute yet elegant yet traditional yet unique yet well known. To me it’s one of those perfect names and it makes me smile that you’re using it
Thank you so much
The name actually came to me in a dream way before I had my son. I had a daughter in the dream named [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and when I woke up I was so sad it wasn’t real. The name means so much to me. There’s why it’s so important to me to get the middle name right too. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is my favorite Disney princess because she made me feel like less of a freak for being a bookworm and I love her kind heart. But I agree with everything you said about [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] too. Thank you so much for your input, it really means a lot to me!
I love double middles and I really like [name_f]Belle[/name_f], but I’m not 100% sold on how this combination flows though. However, I still voted for the double middle because long names are the best!
Okay this might be a long winded post so I apologize!
I voted for [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and here is why. In my personal experience I knew that I wanted 2 specific names to be included in my child’s middle name. When we finally got pregnant my partner was very adamant he only wanted to use one middle name. His whole family only have one. All of my siblings have 2 middle names .
The deciding factor ; what if this was our only child and I never got to use the other name I loved ! What if our next child was a girl and I couldn’t use the name. So we went with 3 2 syllable names and a 3 syllable last name because I had to have names that I loved And I didn’t want to regret not using one .
I love the way [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] flows! [name_f]Belle[/name_f] also adds nuance to the more expected [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f].
Phoebe [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is so beautiful! I’m probably biased but I love 2 middles and I think these sound gorgeous together, especially knowing the reasons you love them
I’m really impressed with [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. Amazing name.
It’s probably my favorite, but I thought of [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Carlotta[/name_f] too haha. And I can see why you want to add [name_f]Belle[/name_f], but I think your last name prevents it.
