What about [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] as the first name?
I chose [name_m]Calvin[/name_m]! I love the nn [name_u]Cal[/name_u]. [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] is one of those sweet spot names that is masculine but cute, a vintage classic that is not too out there, interesting but known, on trend but not trendy, great nn option, etc. I really like the name [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] but it might be a bit S heavy with [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Samual[/name_m] Grossman. [name_m]Adam[/name_m] is nice too but it doesn’t have the spark for me that [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] have.
@jenevievem, [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] was a contender for a bit, but we both like it better as a middle. The nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u] is cute, but doesn’t really do it for me right now… plus my boss just had a [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]/[name_u]Sam[/name_u] a few months ago.
@maurab, thanks! I love the nn [name_u]Cal[/name_u] too, and I love the name [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] in general the name for all the reasons you listed… which are perfect, thank you! It’s my favorite right now, but DH is less sure, and I do like the others too… it’s tough!

[name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] followed by [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_m]Samuel[/name_m].
I voted for [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] based off of how it sounds my second is [name_m]Calvin[/name_m] but I don’t like how the letter n is both the ending of the first and last name.
