I can’t get over the alliteration. But both [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] and [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] sound great with your last name! [name_u]James[/name_u] is pretty good as well. I found it awkward to say [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] out loud since [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] ends with a B and [name_m]Brock[/name_m] begins the same. I slightly prefer [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] to [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] as a name in general, so it got my vote.
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]
I voted [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]. I also like [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m].
What about [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] as a middle? [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] or [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]. The first one flows better but both work alright.
Obviously I like [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m], but I agree with some of the posters on your previous thread that it doesn’t sound great with your last name. I don’t mind the alliteration, but “[name_m]Ben[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]” sounds kind of choppy.
I voted for [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], which I think sounds very handsome with [name_m]Brock[/name_m], but also really like the previous poster’s suggestion of [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m].
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] sounds the best! I am surprised to see it so low on the poll results. I am also surprised that there is no nickname. [name_u]James[/name_u] has so many great nicknames!
I can see I’m in the minority, but I like how [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] sounds together! My boyfriend is [name_m]Branden[/name_m] B, and I also think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] Button, as silly as it sounds. I personally really like two B names together.
I love [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] but sadly don’t like [name_m]Ben[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m].
[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m], and [name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is fine.
[name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is fine, but [name_m]Jake[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is abrupt and too much k sound.
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is great–even though [name_u]James[/name_u] is one syllable, it doesn’t feel abrupt like some of the others do.
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] reminds me of [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]Broderick[/name_m], and [name_m]Matt[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] is boring/average.
For me, nicknames included, your top two are [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] [name_m]Brock[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Brock[/name_m]. Good luck!
Where did [name_m]Colin[/name_m] go??? I think you need a 2 syllable name to go with your one syllable last name. Having both names with one syllable sounds abrupt and choppy to me. Your only 2 syllable names will be shortened to one syllable nicknames? Oh, I just noticed [name_u]Alex[/name_u], which does sound the best to me. But please bring back [name_m]Colin[/name_m]!
My husband said it looked like [name_m]Colon[/name_m] and later veto’d it : (
My favourite is the strong, handome and majestic [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]. This name is a classic and timeless gem!
