  • Max Riggs is fine. : 31 (62%)
  • Max Riggs is too choppy, stick with Logan : 17 (34%)
  • Neither, I have other suggestions.: 2 (4%)

[name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs does sound choppy to me - not necessarily a deal-breaker ([name_m]Brad[/name_m] [name_m]Pitt[/name_m] seems to have done OK), but yes, choppy. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Riggs sounds better to me, but I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] better than [name_u]Logan[/name_u] if you take the surname out of the equation, so I’m torn!

Would you consider [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] Riggs, nickname [name_u]Max[/name_u]?

I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] is super handsome! I would much prefer to meet a little [name_u]Max[/name_u] than a little [name_u]Logan[/name_u] (although I like [name_u]Logan[/name_u] a lot, too). If you like [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], why not use [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u]? [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] would sound better with Riggs, and you could still use [name_u]Max[/name_u]. I personally prefer [name_m]Maximilian[/name_m] (and even [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]) to [name_m]Maddox[/name_m], but [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] would certainly get you to [name_u]Max[/name_u]. If [name_u]Max[/name_u] is what you love, and just [name_u]Max[/name_u], though, I think [name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs is just fine. My grandmother had a one-syllable FN and MN, so, due to my affection for her, I think I’m more inclined to not be bothered by the 1-1 flow. I mean, [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Riggs does sound better than [name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs, but not by much. I don’t think it’s ideal, but it wouldn’t keep me from it.

MNs for [name_u]Max[/name_u]:

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Julian[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Riley[/name_u]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] (I knew a family who had a [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], and I always thought it was a really sweet name!)
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Greyson[/name_m]
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]

Good luck!

[name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs sounds so handsome! i can see where baby namers may argue that it’s choppy but honestly i think baby namers think way harder about this than the average person would, and nobody would bat an eye at [name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs. if [name_u]Max[/name_u] is your pick, dont let the syllables hold you back, i think it sounds fine!

Thanks for your input! We really like long middle names, preferably starting with a vowel or a soft consonant. Hard consonants seem too heavy with the rest of the name. Keep the suggestions coming!

I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u]. I just don’t.like [name_u]Max[/name_u] in general.

I prefer [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Riggs. It’s less that [name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs is choppy than that it’s a lot of sss sound. It’s not terrible by any means, though I think [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] nn [name_u]Max[/name_u] is a good compromise. [name_u]Logan[/name_u] [name_m]Maddox[/name_m] is handsome (and extremely similar to my son’s name!). For [name_u]Max[/name_u] how about [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m]?

[name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs sounds great, and I vastly prefer [name_u]Max[/name_u] to [name_u]Logan[/name_u]…for you, would [name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Riggs work as a full name?

[name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs is wonderful … [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] Riggs is even better!

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]?
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u]?

[name_m]Maximilien[/name_m] Riggs
[name_m]Maximo[/name_m] Riggs

[name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs sounds fine.

I like [name_u]Max[/name_u] Riggs. You could use [name_m]Maxim[/name_m], nn [name_u]Max[/name_u], if you wanted something just a titch longer. Some middle suggestions -

[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] Riggs
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] Riggs
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] Riggs
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] Riggs
[name_u]Max[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] Riggs

While [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_u]Logan[/name_u] Riggs both sound fine, he probably wouldn’t be the only one on the playground. Both names are awesome, but here are some other options.
