I’m due next week, but the doc says it’ll probably happen sooner and I still can’t find THE name. Or anything that I really like for more than a day. A few years ago I came across the name [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] in a book, fell in love and decided that would be what I named a girl if I ever have one. But now we have a couple friends with daughters named [name]Sophie[/name] and it’s out of the running. Any advice or name combos would be greatly appreciated. Her older brothers are [name]Gabriel[/name] nn [name]Gabe[/name] and [name]Aiden[/name].
[name]Elise[/name]- I like this more for a middle name
[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Caitlyn[/name]
[name]Kiera[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name]- This seems to be the front runner, but I can’t commit yet
[name]Veronice[/name] nn [name]Vera[/name]
[name]Cora[/name]- Husband loves this but feels to nicknamey to me
I like these, but nothing really measures up to [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Rose[/name] to me
If it helps last name sounds like [name]Malone[/name] so “m” names are out.
I really like [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Rose[/name]! If you decide not to go with it, how about [name]Nora[/name]/[name]Norah[/name] instead of [name]Cora[/name]? [name]Norah[/name] [name]Elise[/name] is very pretty.
Or you could go with [name]Caroline[/name], which reminds me of [name]Cora[/name].
I’m wondering if you might like [name]Sylvie[/name]? It’s got a similar sound and feel to [name]Sophie[/name], but unlike [name]Sophie[/name] it has not fallen victim to uber-popularity and so it retains much more of its charm.
I also like the previous suggestions of a [name]Rose[/name] variant in the middle, rather than just [name]Rose[/name]. But, if you want something short and sweet in the middle, I like [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]June[/name], or [name]Sylvie[/name] [name]Hope[/name].
[name]Hi[/name]! [name]Do[/name] you like [name]Rosa[/name] for a first name? [name]Rosa[/name] [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Malone[/name]? Or if you’re open to double-barreled names: [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Claire[/name] [name]Rosalind[/name]? A different spirit from [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Rose[/name], but some of the same sounds . . . .
