opinion of our choice?

I know I have posted before about this - but now that I know we are having a girl, it is pretty much decided:

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f]

[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] for her late great-grandparents (I’m using the Li from their last name) also for my love of lilacs and the tree they had in their yard.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] for her late great-grandmother on my bf’s side.

Last name is [name_m]French[/name_m] and starts with Ar and is 3 syllables.

I was torn between the [name_f]Lila[/name_f]/[name_f]Lilah[/name_f] spelling but I think the H breaks up the A’s.

Thoughts please?

I think it’s very beautiful. Personally I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f] over [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] (as I prefer [name_f]Nora[/name_f] over [name_f]Norah[/name_f], [name_f]Sara[/name_f] over [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], etc.) and I don’t think [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] Ar… looks bad at all, I find it a bit more streamlined actually. Most of the time she’ll be just “[name_f]Lila[/name_f]/h” on paper anyway.
Either way, a wonderful combo!

It’s beautiful, and I love the special meanings the name has. [name_f]Lila[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] seems fine to me, but [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] works just as well. Comes down to whatever looks best written to you.

Like @opheliaflora, I prefer [name_f]Lila[/name_f] without the ‘h,’ but it is just fine with it, too, although I don’t think you need the ‘h’ just to break of the a’s. It just looks more like a shortening of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] with the ‘h’ as opposed to it’s own name. Anyway. I think [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] is gorgeous! The meaningful connections are wonderful, as well.

Stunning choice! [name_m]Just[/name_m] beautiful.

Adorable name! I personally prefer the [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] spelling with [name_f]Alice[/name_f].

Very pretty! I like [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] with an H since it looks like a shortened version of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] and makes the name feel older.

Very pretty! [name_u]Love[/name_u] it.

A very beautiful name! I also prefer the [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] spelling, especially with [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. It sounds like you’ve chosen a great name with lots of meaning to you! Congratulations on your baby girl and all the best!
