[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all,
I’m not expecting but came across the names [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] for boys in some book I’ve read! I am in love with them! Especially [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]! What do you all think?
[name_m]Hi[/name_m] all,
I’m not expecting but came across the names [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] and [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] for boys in some book I’ve read! I am in love with them! Especially [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]! What do you all think?
I love [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]! It’s so handsome on any age, and I also love [name_m]Hugh[/name_m] as a nickname. I like [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] as a nickname for [name_m]Philip[/name_m], but not as a given name. I don’t think it ages well as it doesn’t seem very professional or manly, but it’s so fun as a nickname. I just think of the hobbit [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] from the [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings lol
I love the name [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. It’s quite popular where I’m from, enough that I wouldn’t use it despite really loving it, but it’s a great choice. [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] is kind of cool but I’d only consider it in the middle position. Actually, [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] is a great combo!
I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_m]Pippin[/name_m], for a boy or girl, but I think it’s more of a GP, sadly. It is very cute – possibly too cute to be worn for a lifetime.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is great, however. It’s classic, international, sophisticated but fresh and a little bit quirky too. I think it will continue to rise sharply over the coming years, however, if increased popularity would bother you.
I agree with the others! They’re both really handsome, underused boy names, though I prefer [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] as a nickname or middle name.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is charming - sweet but strong.
I like [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] too though i like it best as a nn for something like [name_m]Peregrine[/name_m] or [name_m]Phillip[/name_m]
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] its handsome and I’ve never met one before so it’s not common which is great. [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] reminds me of a dogs name or [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the rings I really dislike it for a baby name.
I really like both (and also think that [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] would make for one fantastic combo)!
In regard to [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], I adore its beautifully sweet meaning: ‘heart, mind, spirit’. [name_m]Just[/name_m] such a lovely little sentiment, quite like calling the little one ‘my everything, my all’ in a way, you know?
[name_m]Pippin[/name_m] has such a sweet but cheeky type of energy to it that I really like. It’s got such great zest, lively and fun.
I love [name_m]Hugo[/name_m], one of my favourites. [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] is a name I have loved for a girl (possibly more as a nickname or middle name) for some time. I would feel the same for a boy - [name_m]Philip[/name_m] with nn [name_m]Pippin[/name_m] would work.
