What do you think of these names, which spelling do you prefer, and how do you pronounce them?
I’d say ‘Lor-EEN’ I think - like [name_f]Maureen[/name_f], but the sounds at the beginning would be slightly shorter?

I’d say lor-EEN for both. I don’t mind them, but they do sound a bit dated to my ear (like [name_f]Colleen[/name_f], [name_f]Doreen[/name_f], [name_f]Maureen[/name_f], [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f], etc.). I prefer the [name_f]Laurene[/name_f] spelling as I think it looks a bit more streamlined.
I like [name_f]Laureen[/name_f], but I love “een” names. [name_f]My[/name_f] family is full of them and I’ve been patiently waiting for them to make a comeback.
