Can you tell me your thoughts of [name]Olive[/name]? Is it kinda trendy or what? It was my great great grandmas name and I would to honor her. Also, the olive tree/branch is a sign of peace and I just love that.
2nd choice is [name]Charlotte[/name] nn [name]Lottie[/name] (Another family name) 3rd is [name]Lydia[/name] and 4th is [name]Violet[/name]
For boys it’s either between [name]Milo[/name] or [name]Miles[/name]… Can’t decide and [name]Noam[/name]. [name]Lincoln[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name], too. [name]Oliver[/name] was my grandpas favorite tractors. Of course I can’t have an [name]Olive[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name], haha.
I can’t stand it, personally. I love [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name], but [name]Olive[/name] is just a food to me. I just can’t get used to it as a name, even though I know it’s been used for quite a long time. For me, it’ll always be food. I do really like [name]Oliver[/name] as a way to honor your grandmother, and I think [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Milo[/name], [name]Noam[/name], and [name]Lydia[/name] are fantastic as well.
I don’t like [name]Olive[/name] at all. All I picture is well Olives! Why would you name your kid after a vegetable? Not to mention the worst color of green there is!
I much prefer [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Olivia[/name].
I’m going to join the lack of huge love for [name]Olive[/name] - which surprises me on NB. I see the appeal, I like the look and even sort of the sound of it, but yeah it is all a food and an unattractive color.
I think [name]Oliver[/name] for a boy is better. Or use [name]Olive[/name] as a middle with one of your others, which are lovely (or don’t). I think [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Olive[/name] has a particularly nice ring.
I love it, but I have one so I’m completely biased. We mostly call her [name]Ollie[/name] which I cannot stand on a little boy, sounds way girly to me, but then like I said, I’m completely biased.
[name]Love[/name] [name]Olive[/name]! And I also [name]Love[/name] [name]Miles[/name] and [name]Noam[/name]! You could always use [name]Miles[/name] nn [name]Milo[/name] if you can’t decide.
I like [name]Oliver[/name] more than [name]Olive[/name]. I also like [name]Miles[/name] with [name]Milo[/name] as a nickname.
Out of your choices for girls my favorite is [name]Lydia[/name]. I love the sound and the literary connection with [name]Jane[/name] [name]Austen[/name]. It is such a sweet name. I have never met a little [name]Lydia[/name] and hope that someday I will.
My next choice is [name]Charlotte[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though it is getting more popular I still think it is such a cute name. It is also a family name, and to me family names trump popularity or being hipster.
[name]Violet[/name] is a lovely color, but that would be third choice. I think it would be a lovely middle name.
[name]Olive[/name] would be my last choice. It is different and a cute little girl could pull it off. It would be a cute middle name like someone else suggested.
I love [name]Olive[/name]!
[name]Olive[/name], [name]Miles[/name] and [name]Noam[/name] would make a fabulous sibset!
I don’t like [name]Olive[/name] with your other girls names though. She’s so short and sweet and down to earth, something [name]Charlotte[/name], [name]Lydia[/name] and [name]Violet[/name] aren’t. I’m worried a little [name]Olive[/name] would feel cheated.
If I were to use [name]Olive[/name], I would probably go with something like [name]Vera[/name], [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] for her sisters.
