Opinion on my Top 10 Boys Names

[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]
[name_m]Jax[/name_m]
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]
[name_m]Keane[/name_m]
[name_u]James[/name_u]
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]
[name_m]Lennon[/name_m]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] them all! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_u]Addison[/name_u], [name_u]Porter[/name_u] and [name_m]Lennon[/name_m]. We would name our little boy [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] if my husband would agree to it  (he’s not into it, I don’t know why)!

[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]-- This is a very brave sounding choice to me. I’d love to meet a [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]!
[name_m]Jax[/name_m]-- This is sort of trendy because of all the Jaxons I know, but I do like it. [name_f]My[/name_f] boyfriend and I liked [name_m]Callen[/name_m] [name_m]Jax[/name_m] for awhile
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]-- Not bad, but not my favorite choice on your list.
[name_m]Keane[/name_m]-- I think this a cool, underused choice for boys.
[name_u]James[/name_u]-- Eh. I’d rather see a [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]-- This name is almost too proper. I find it hard to picture on a rough and tough little boy. Although he may not be “rough and tough,” you gotta consider all the personalities your kid could have when naming it.
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]-- I know this was originally a boy name, but I think there are too many Adelyns, Addies, and girl Addisons now. A little boy [name_u]Addison[/name_u] could get teased, which I hate to say. Sorry.
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]-- Very cute name, right on trend with the er occupational names.
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]-- See [name_u]Addison[/name_u]
[name_m]Lennon[/name_m]-- Very cool. I prefer [name_m]Lennox[/name_m], but [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] is still adorable.

[name_m]Gideon[/name_m]—absolutely love it. Gorgeous, strong name. Only problem is, it’s quite heavy, with no good nicknames in my opinion, so it might not be as wearable. I would very much consider it for a middle name, and encourage others to dare to use it for a first name.
[name_m]Jax[/name_m]—love [name_m]Jack[/name_m], hate [name_m]Jax[/name_m]. Sorry.
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u]—love [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], and all the spelling variants. I find it hard to pick a favorite, but the sound itself is gorgeous.
[name_m]Keane[/name_m]—I’m ambivalent about this one.
[name_u]James[/name_u]—probably the single best boys’ name ever. Not necessarily my favorite, although it’s one of them, but certainly one of the best, if such things were quantifiable. [name_f]Every[/name_f] nickname is amazing, it’s lovely on its own, and it’s got a great history.
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m]—beautiful strong name, literary/mythological reference, etc.
[name_u]Addison[/name_u]—prefer over [name_u]Madison[/name_u], but still think it’s kind of mediocre.
[name_u]Porter[/name_u]—mildly dislike
[name_u]Madison[/name_u]—hate. It’s the “mad” sound, I think, I hate pretty much all names with that sound.
[name_m]Lennon[/name_m]—I associate it way too much with [name_m]John[/name_m] [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] to like it as a name, although it’s got a good song. It’s a bit like [name_m]Jagger[/name_m]—it kind of screams LOOK [name_m]HOW[/name_m] ARTSY AND DEEP I AM!!! It’s over-the-top.

love - [name_m]Jax[/name_m] (as a nickname, [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Jack[/name_m] “[name_m]Jax[/name_m]”), [name_u]Elliot[/name_u], [name_u]Addison[/name_u]

like - [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_u]Porter[/name_u]

neutral - [name_m]Gideon[/name_m], [name_m]Keane[/name_m], [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_u]Madison[/name_u], [name_m]Lennon[/name_m]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_m]Lennon[/name_m] and [name_m]Keane[/name_m]. I also love [name_m]Lennox[/name_m]! [name_u]Addison[/name_u] and [name_u]Madison[/name_u] sound feminine to me.
