I think it’s darling and that “Love” and “Lovey” make the cutest nicknames
I recently heard it as well, and I literally fell in love! I’ve always liked “Love” and “Loveday” as middles for more classic names like [name_u]Henry[/name_u], [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and [name_f]Edith[/name_f], so [name_f]Lovelyn[/name_f] just feels like a new take on those two names. People may ridicule it but there’s that risk with all names, if you love it, that’s all that matters IMO.
I’ve recently fallen for the combo [name_f]Lovelyn[/name_f] [name_u]Rae[/name_u]
It isn’t my style but I think would be quite sweet and could see it fitting in with other [name_u]Lyn[/name_u] ending names. [name_u]Flip[/name_u] side perhaps a little too cutesy?? [name_m]Can[/name_m] see it on a little girl but harder to imagine on an adult
It is cute but it might be a little too cute. Maybe as a middle? I’m not sure if it solves the problem but [name_f]Lovella[/name_f] is another alternative.
It’s easy to imagine on a little girl, but much harder to imagine on an adult. I think it could work well as a middle name, but I’d be hesitant to use it as a first name.
I think it’s a sweet name. There may be people who dislike it (just like with any name) but I think the popularity of the Netflix show “You” with a main character named simply [name_u]Love[/name_u] would help.
It’s too cute for me and I’m not a fan in general of -lyn names, but I met an adult called [name_f]Lovelyn[/name_f] once who worked in a healthcare role and it really suited her/her personality!
Sorry, but I wouldn’t use it. I’d feel awkward introducing myself as [name_f]Lovelyn[/name_f]. It does have a very pretty sound, but it’s too cute for me.
The nns are adorable… my concern is more that it feels a bit made-up and doesn’t feel like it has a lot of history? I could be wrong though because my beloved [name_f]Lovella[/name_f] has gotten the same review, and she’s almost as old as time. . [name_f]Lovelyn[/name_f] does sound very sweet, though, and could also have one of my favorite nns ever—Lola!
Love and Lovey are cute nicknames, but I think you can use them for someone regardless of their name because they’re also just sweet pet names! Dont love Lovelyn much myself
I wouldn’t use it myself but would be happy to meet a little Lovelyn
It’s the cuttest name… Ivê always liked the name Love as a middle
And Lovey as a nickname is adorable
