theodore feels quite ‘safe’ compared to the rest (and same goes for matilda, unless you’re in the states/canada where it’s more unexpected) but i do really like all the names!
I feel like it’s split into two as far as styles:
indigo, sunday, + wilder
matilda + theodore
A fun and sassy sibset! [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] too a bit) feel a bit ‘safe’ and popular in comparison, but, since they’re in there together, they fit.
If I could change it up:
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], Wilder…
[name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_f]Mira[/name_f]
[name_u]Forest[/name_u] and [name_f]Nadia[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothy[/name_f] and [name_m]Atticus[/name_m]
I love these names! Great subset imo - spunky, solid, a little boho, and they’re names with history but they don’t feel old. I like them all together.
I like [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Sunday[/name_f]! The others tbh are NMS and I feel like [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] feels a bit out, but it should be fine!
They are all gorgeous names!
However I think [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] & [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] feel more cohesive in comparison to [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] which feel almost like their own separate sibling set. I can see [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] & [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] belonging to one family with [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] & [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] belonging to the other. I suppose I picture them more as cousins rather than siblings.
They seem really mismatched, to be completely honest.
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], [name_u]Wilder[/name_u], [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] & [name_f]Honey[/name_f]
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_u]Henry[/name_u], [name_m]Felix[/name_m] & [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]
Two different sets!
(Having said that, unless sibling names are so wildly different as to affect sibling relationships and life outcomes sociologically, I think mix n match is more than OK!)
I don’t think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] or [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] fit with the others. They have far more history than the other names, which are relatively modern inventions.
Trying to think of names to bridge the gap…
Hmm I’ll go with [name_m]Kipling[/name_m] and [name_f]Allegra[/name_f].
i love it! it’s eclectic, dreamy, and fun. i will say indigo, sunday and wilder feel very different in vibe to matilda and theodore, but if you don’t mind (i personally don’t mind!) it just adds to the quirky (in a good way), joyful energy of the set.
I LOVE those names! I agree that [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] (and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] depending on where you are) are much more traditional, but to me they share that same quirky, whimsical vibe with [name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Wilder[/name_u]. Summery feel, like tree houses and tea parties and dirty feet from running around outside. Really sweet sibset
thank you for everyone who gave their opinion and for suggesting new names!
I think [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] and [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] work well together, but the others are a bit weird/extreme for first names, especially [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].
[name_u]Indigo[/name_u], [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] and [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] feel like hippie, flower child names together (I don’t consider that a bad thing by the way). [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] and [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] seem more buttoned up, but in a quirky way. With them mixed together the way you have them I actually think they work quite nicely!
