What are your opinions about [name_u]Asa[/name_u]? Thoughts about [name_m]Ace[/name_m] as a nickname.
I don’t like it, it reminds me of the computer company Acer…
I like it. I’m fond of [name_m]Ezra[/name_m], [name_m]Aryeh[/name_m], [name_u]Ari[/name_u], etc.
I also like [name_m]Ace[/name_m] as a nickname for it. It’s a fairly traditional nickname for some variants of [name_m]Alexander[/name_m]/Aleksander, as well. And I’ve pondered it for [name_m]Alastair[/name_m].
I like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] a lot (it’s on our list)! Though I’m not sure if I’m a fan of [name_m]Ace[/name_m]
[name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce [name_u]Asa[/name_u]? If its ASS-ah. I don’t like it at all. AY-sah is better, but it sounds a bit feminine to me. I don’t care for [name_m]Ace[/name_m] as a nickname.
I adore [name_u]Asa[/name_u]. I’m neutral toward [name_m]Ace[/name_m]. It isn’t bad, but I like [name_u]Asa[/name_u] much better than [name_m]Ace[/name_m].
Although I’ve always disliked [name_m]Ace[/name_m] as a nickname for anything (it just sounds a little too…hmm, jock ‘villain’ in a coming of age movie, perhaps?)
I absolutely adore [name_u]Asa[/name_u] though. Soft, kind of sweet, while still being masculine and to-the-point. I love him!!
Thank you, all. I am still unsure. I have mixed feelings about the name, although it is growing on me quickly.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] is pronounced, AYS-ə.
I like it a lot, especially since it coincides with the Portuguese word for “wing”. [name_m]Ace[/name_m] is a cool nickname.
