I am a super fan of family names in the middle, if you like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and it is your brother’s name, I would choose that hands down any day.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] definitely get extra points for the family connection. Both are handsome, so I say look no further. Sounds like in the end it will be more important to you to honor your brother than use a name you simply like, so might as well not crowd your mind / list with all the other possibilities.
That said my favorites of the rest of the list are:
All of the combos are fine. My personal favorites are [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Alexander[/name_m], but if you love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] and want to use a family name then go with that. I much prefer [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] because even though I definitely think [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] leans masculine both [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] are unisex names and if I saw that combo I honestly wouldn’t be sure if it were a boy or a girl.
