[name_m]Hi[/name_m]
was hoping to get some opinions on the following names. They are all similar so please be honest - seem to be adding rather than cutting down why are names so hard!
Not sure on spelling yet either haven’t seen them really but they are growing on me
I like [name_f]Alira[/name_f], [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and [name_f]Elara[/name_f].
I would consider [name_f]Elyse[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Elyza[/name_f].
My favorite is [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]–strong, smart, energetic, just a lovely name overall! I also like [name_f]Aliza[/name_f] but would be inclined to pronounce it uh-LEE-zuh instead of eh-LYE-zuh–not sure if this is actually right lol, just my instinct when I see it. It doesn’t seem to nickname to [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] quite as naturally as [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], regardless. [name_f]My[/name_f] second favorite option for you would be [name_f]Elara[/name_f], spelled like this! I also love the previous suggestions of [name_f]Elise[/name_f]/Elyse and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f].
Elara! I love love love!
It just occurred to me Ellara would be the safe spelling, while [name_f]Elara[/name_f] could go different ways.
I’m intrigued by [name_f]Alira[/name_f], I really like this one! Though I admit, I had to check the pronunciation, though I love either one.
Between [name_f]Alira[/name_f] and [name_f]Elira[/name_f], you might prefer one origin and meaning over another, since they are different.
Elara - interesting and unexpected name, and an astronomy name, which is the coolest part about it to me. But for some reason I’ve never been fully convinced, le sigh. I wish I could love it, but it’s just not a name that truly captivates me.
[name_f]Alira[/name_f] - I actually LOVE [name_f]Alira[/name_f]. At this point it’s probably my favorite of these.
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f] - if [name_f]Alira[/name_f] isn’t my favorite, then [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] certainly would be! I’ve adored her since I was about 12 and that love really hasn’t wavered. It’s not currently on my list but it’s never far from my thoughts. I’d LOVE to have an [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]!
I honestly think I would rank [name_f]Alira[/name_f] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] about the same. [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] would get you [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/Elle/Ellie much easier than [name_f]Alira[/name_f] would, but I think they’re both gorgeous.
Other ways to get to [name_f]Ella[/name_f]/Ellie/Elle:
Eliora/Elora
[name_f]Eliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f]/Eloisa
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]/Eleonora
[name_f]Elisa[/name_f] (eh-LEE-sah)
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f]/Elisabet/Elisheva
[name_f]Elba[/name_f]
[name_f]Elva[/name_f]/Elvira
[name_f]Isabelle[/name_f]/Isabella
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]/Noella
[name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f]/Gabriella
[name_f]Samuella[/name_f]
[name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]/Mirabella
[name_f]Mirielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Michaela[/name_f] (technically, I suppose, although the [name_f]Ella[/name_f] sound isn’t really in it…)
[name_f]Prunella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosabelle[/name_f]/Rosabella
[name_f]Sabinella[/name_f]
[name_f]Anabelle[/name_f]/Annabella
[name_f]Helena[/name_f]/Helen
[name_f]Penelope[/name_f]
[name_f]Elina[/name_f]
[name_f]Joelle[/name_f]/Joella
[name_f]Mariel[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Elara[/name_f] is gorgeous! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is a strong classic that you really can’t go wrong with, but it’s never been my favorite. [name_f]Alira[/name_f]/Elira would be my preferred spelling of the second name.
I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]! It’s a beautiful name, but this is the only spelling I like. [name_f]Elisa[/name_f] would be stunning too.
From your list, I also like [name_f]Elara[/name_f]. I adore the connection with the space.
I know someone named [name_f]Eolande[/name_f] (ay-oh-lon-day) and she goes by [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]. I’ve never seen or heard it anywhere else. Besides that I’d also suggest [name_f]Elodea[/name_f] or [name_f]Elise[/name_f]. Out of your choices though I really like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f]!
