We thought we had our girls name sorted [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] Peregreen - lovely right?

But we now like [name_f]Florie[/name_f]

What do you all think?

I prefer [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].

And [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is lovely.

[name_f]Florie[/name_f] is soooo sweet! Is it pronounced like “f-LOOR-ee”? Is it short for anything or just a stand alone name?

I like both but [name_f]Florie[/name_f] feels more like a nickname to me, like there should be a longer form. I also slightly prefer [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] to [name_f]Florie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f].

I agree with PP - [name_f]Florie[/name_f] sounds like it should be short for something. Like [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] or [name_f]Florencia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]…

[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] flows better than [name_f]Florie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] (the r and w are tongue twisting) and I also think it’s a better name. I would stick with the original [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].

While I love [name_f]Florence[/name_f] nn [name_f]Florie[/name_f], I do not care for [name_f]Florie[/name_f] on it’s own. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] has more “full name potential” in my opinion.

I would stick to [name_f]Elsie[/name_f]. [name_f]Florie[/name_f] doesn’t stand too well on its own, and when you pair it with [name_f]Willow[/name_f] it’s a little too botanical.

You could use all 3 names [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Florie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. If you wanted to be greedy :wink:

I prefer [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f], sounds beautiful! However, if [name_f]Florie[/name_f] was a nickname was a nickname was for [name_f]Florence[/name_f], I’d prefer it. Because [name_f]Florence[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] Peregreen sounds absolutely amazing! I do love [name_f]Florie[/name_f], it just sounds more like a nickname than a full name to me personally :slight_smile:
