Opinions of our names

So we found out that we are having a girl. It’s pretty important to me that her name has meaning.out son is [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m].

[name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (pronounced Ez may)
[name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (biblical and is used to describe Jewish people entering [name_m]Israel[/name_m])
[name_m]Nuriah[/name_m] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (sounds like [name_f]Mariah[/name_f] means fire of the [name_m]Lord[/name_m])

My favourite of the three is [name_f]Esme[/name_f] and it works well with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m], not sure if you mind that the other two have the same ending sound as your son.

I prefer [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. As a combo is very pretty, and I prefer [name_f]Esme[/name_f] from [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] and [name_m]Nuriah[/name_m].

[name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is stunning! I love the name [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] (with this spelling, [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] and [name_f]Aleah[/name_f]). I also love how [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] sound together.

Ugh. I really like nuriah but no one else seems too.it has such a strong meaning and if spelled [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] the meaning is lamp of the [name_m]Lord[/name_m]. Can I ask why you aren’t found of the name? I have to ask bc I once liked [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] and someone told me it sounded like the other name for nipple that I can’t spell lol so glad I was told before she was mocked for the rest of her life!

I have never heard [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] before but it is kind of cool. I do agree that it is pretty close to [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]. It has harsher sounds with the strong I so maybe that is why some people aren’t into it.

Both [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] and [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] are stunning. [name_f]Esme[/name_f] is pretty but not as distinctive [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. I love the meaning of [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] - I don’t like [name_m]Nuriah[/name_m] that much though, think it may be the Nu- for some reason. My favourite is [name_u]Neriah[/name_u]. I think the -iah endings actually work in this sibset. [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] is also very pretty and goes beautifully with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m].

I would have said [name_f]Esme[/name_f], but probably only because it’s the one I’m most familiar with. Why not [name_m]Nuriah[/name_m]? Of the three, I was unsure how to pronounce it even with your prompts, so my instinct was to go against it. I do prefer it over [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f] though, and love the meaning. So nothing really ‘against’ it, it does have a beautiful exotic sound that is already growing on me and I can’t think of anything bad it sounds like. Clearly you love it, I think that’s reason enough to use it! Once people meet your little girl I think it will grow on them too.

I don’t like [name_m]Nuriah[/name_m] tbh, I prefer Nuriye but even it is not a good choice. My favorite is [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f].

I personally find anything other than [name_f]Esme[/name_f] to be too much like her brother’s name
I find [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] very pretty s it’s a shame

I like [name_f]Esme[/name_f] from your choices. What about [name_f]Noa[/name_f]?

[name_m]Nuriah[/name_m] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] sounds great. I love both names and they sound wonderful together. My next pick from the choices is [name_f]Aliyah[/name_f]. I’m used to the [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] spelling though. Both pair nicely with [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m]!
