Looks like we’ve narrowed it down to [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] - thoughts on the name [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]? From what I’ve read some think it’s to easily confused with “[name_u]Brooke[/name_u]”…but I’ve met a few [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] and love it.
I’ve been hearing it a bit more around lately and actually been falling for it myself!
I adore [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], have it on the short list. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is very handsome. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] is outdoorsy, adventurous, and fun-loving.

I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], it’s so fresh sounding! However, [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is very last name-y and doesn’t really do it for me. I would prefer a more tradition middle name in there, or even a longer surname such as [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] maybe? [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is very short and choppy and not my style.

It’s not my style, but I can see why you like it. It goes well with [name_m]Weston[/name_m]. 
I love [name_m]Brooks[/name_m]. I think it is an awesome choice. It is solid and strong. It is so cool and masculine. Unexpected. I probably would choose a different middle, something that isn’t a surname, but that’s just me. [name_m]Brooks[/name_m] [name_m]Weston[/name_m] is sweet.
I have honestly never heard of the name until now.
I’m a bit neutral on it, as I’m not generally a fan of surnames as first names and to me, [name_m]Brooks[/name_m], is a surname. Having said that however, the more I say it, the more used to it I’m becoming. It’s certainly not objectionable, might just be something I’d have to get used to hearing! I like the sounds in the name though. I agree with the previous poster, I’d choose a middle name that is a definite first name to avoid the double barrel surname feel.

This is actually a friend of mines middle name, and another friend who recently had a little girl, was going to give her son this middle name…if she had had a son…
I think it’s a cute name, when paired right.
