Opinions on Arianne?

how do we feel about [name_f]Arianne[/name_f]?
nn [name_u]Ari[/name_u] / [name_f]Annie[/name_f]
any middle name suggestions?

Okay, don’t hate me, but I read it [name_m]Aryan[/name_m]. :flushed:

However, I think it looks gorgeous, and I need to stop being so bad at pronouncing things.

[name_u]Ari[/name_u] and [name_f]Annie[/name_f] are both cute nicknames!

I like it and know a little one, but I do prefer the sleeker [name_f]Ariane[/name_f] spelling personally.

I’d like it paired with a more modern middle, since [name_f]Arianne[/name_f] feels a little old-fashioned (in a charming way!)

honestly, i prefer ariadne to ariane/arianne, and both nicknames would still work with this!

Not my personal style, but it is a lovely name.

I’m curious how you pronounce it because I also assumed it is very similar to how you say [name_m]Aryan[/name_m]?

I unfortunately can’t get over the Aryan connection, no matter the spelling. I prefer Ariana for that reason.

Ari-Anne :))

i didn’t see the connection :flushed:
thank you and @katinka for pointing it out

I don’t see “Aryan”. Honestly I think Arianne/Arianna/Arianna are established enough as a group of names that I really don’t make that connection, but I can’t speak for others!

I love [name_f]Arianne[/name_f]! I think it’s such a sleek and classy version of [name_f]Ariana[/name_f] (which I also love but it definitely more popular). I also never would’ve thought of [name_m]Aryan[/name_m] because the pronunciations are so different to me. Aaron/Erin is closer to [name_m]Aryan[/name_m] than [name_f]Arianne[/name_f] when I say them so I don’t see the issue at all. (are-ee-ANNE vs AIR-ee-an)

I didn’t think of [name_m]Aryan[/name_m], my first thought was how much it looks like [name_f]Arianna[/name_f]. It’s actually pretty!

I’d pair it with a strong, feminine name
