I like it on boys. Has a neat sound.

Bryn is traditionally Welsh and masculine, so if I met a [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], I would assume they were male.

My name is [name_f]Brynn[/name_f], and I would assume a [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] was male. I actually much prefer the name (with the male spelling) on boys.

I would assume [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] was a boy and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] was a girl. I really like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] for a girl. In the U.S., I don’t think I’ve seen it used for a boy. I only associated it with boys at all because I frequent name boards.

Bryn is sharp and sweet

Noa-[name_u]Bryn[/name_u] used to be my top girls’ name. I still like [name_f]Brynn[/name_f] (this spelling) on girls. [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] has become masculine-leaning-unisex to me.

I used to have a neighbor with a daughter named [name_u]Bryn[/name_u] so the name sounds feminine to me, regardless of spelling. I don’t think it’ll be mistaken for a boy in the US, although this spelling would be more likely to be.

Yup, and masculine-leaning-unisex is exactly the way I like it!
