[name_m]Hi[/name_m], we have a baby due in about a month and cannot decided on a baby boy name. The name [name_m]Eli[/name_m] is on the short list, what do you think?? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you feel it is a strong boy’s name even though its just 3 letters with two vowels? We currently have a girl named [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]. Thanks for your opinions!!!
I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] the name [name_m]Eli[/name_m]. I think it stands also just fine, and it always sounds like a boy’s name to me. Of course, if you are really concerned, there are many [name_m]Eli[/name_m]- boys names you could use ([name_m]Elijah[/name_m], [name_u]Eliot[/name_u], [name_u]Elias[/name_u], etc) and have [name_m]Eli[/name_m] be the nickname. But I think it’s a great name in its own right.
I think [name_m]Eli[/name_m] works great on its own, but I also love [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] nn [name_m]Eli[/name_m].
I love [name_m]Eli[/name_m] as a standalone name. I think it’s strong and handsome. Go for it!
[name_m]Eli[/name_m] was the name of a Biblical high priest who taught [name_m]Samuel[/name_m]. It’s strong enough to stand on its own because it packs a punch in its three letters. This ancient name sounds remarkably fresh and cheerful after all these years. [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] are a great sibling pair.
I like the full name [name_u]Elias[/name_u] nn [name_m]Eli[/name_m]
I like it but it is really popular I know a lot of [name_m]Eli[/name_m]'s [name_m]Levi[/name_m]'s and [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]'s
I hate the name [name_m]Eli[/name_m] when it’s pronounced ee-lie. If it’s pronounced the Israeli way elle-ee than I like it, but then it can be confused with the girls name. I don’t think [name_m]Eli[/name_m] (either pronunciation) goes with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] & [name_m]Eli[/name_m] sound so cute!
I love the name [name_m]Eli[/name_m] and my favorite longer variation is [name_u]Elias[/name_u]. I think it goes perfectly well with [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]!
