Also if you have any other suggestions on combos with [name_f]Etta[/name_f] or etc. please feel free to comment on this topic x
I do think it is too close to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] for sisters, but i absolutely love the name [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Eira[/name_f] & [name_f]Ella[/name_f] better together
[name_f]Eira[/name_f] & [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_u]Eden[/name_u]

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Violet[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_u]Willow[/name_u]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] is so charming and sweet–I love it! I wouldn’t choose it as a sister for [name_f]Ella[/name_f], but otherwise I don’t see the similarity as a problem. I’m finding myself drawn to simple combos like [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], but I definitely think it would pair well with a longer middle too. For sister pairings, I like the idea of something like [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Bess[/name_f], [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Lina[/name_f], or [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Opal[/name_f]!
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] is sparky and bright!!

[name_f]Etta[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f]
I love [name_f]Etta[/name_f] (and -etta names in general). There’s so much personality, energy, feistiness, and playful fun all packed into one short, vintage choice! Ettie’s equally awesome. I do think Etta’s too close to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] for siblings, but in general not at all. They have completely different vibes to me.
For middles, I love the idea of another name full of vintage charm, and brightness.

It’s a yes from me!
I like [name_f]Etta[/name_f]! I think it’s a really sweet name. The sound is similar to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] where people might mistake [name_f]Etta[/name_f] for [name_f]Ella[/name_f] occasionally. One of our favorite names on our list has the nickname [name_f]Etta[/name_f] and I think it is just so cute.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.
I’m torn on this name. On one hand, it’s short, spunky, smart, vintage & not too popular. [name_f]My[/name_f] good friend’s mom is named [name_f]Etta[/name_f], & she’s a kind & strong woman. But the only reason that I can’t get on board w/Etta is because it feels like you have to intentionally say the 't’s too much. It could easily come out as [name_f]Edda[/name_f], unless you over enunciate. Does that make sense? Now if you’re in the U.K., this may not be as much of an issue. With my Midwest U.S. accent, [name_f]Etta[/name_f] feels trickier.
Here are a few cute [name_f]Etta[/name_f] fn/mn combos:
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] Beatrice-unless that’s too ‘t’-ee!
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.
I love [name_f]Etta[/name_f]!
I prefer it as a nickname!
[name_f]Rosetta[/name_f]
[name_f]Julietta[/name_f]
[name_f]Claretta[/name_f]
[name_f]Charlotta[/name_f]
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] is very similar to [name_f]Ella[/name_f], so I don’t think they would be good as sisters. I do love [name_f]Etta[/name_f], though.
I think [name_f]Etta[/name_f] is a lovely name with a cool jazzy sound very lively and vibrant. I think of [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] who is a fantastic soulful singer so for me a brilliant association. I am definitely a massive fan of [name_f]Etta[/name_f]
Concerning [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Ella[/name_f] personally I think they are too similar. I love [name_f]Ella[/name_f] more than I do [name_f]Etta[/name_f] (Ella is my daughters second middle name) however if your more inclined to use [name_f]Etta[/name_f] then some other ‘e’ names you could use that I think could work for a sister for [name_f]Etta[/name_f] are [name_f]Eira[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Enid[/name_f], [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Edie[/name_f] & [name_f]Elsie[/name_f].
I love [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] and [name_f]Etta[/name_f]!
Both are beautiful, strong and simple!
For some reason [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] (pronounced Ca-ro-lee-na) came to mind and even though [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] has always been kind of meh for me and [name_f]Carolina[/name_f] normally seems over-the-top, I really like this combination.
Someone else mentioned that it might sound like [name_f]Edda[/name_f], but in my accent the two words sound about as different as [name_f]Edda[/name_f] and [name_f]Ebba[/name_f] so for me it has 0 drawbacks.
I love [name_f]Etta[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]! [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] or [name_f]Etta[/name_f] & [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] are cute together.

We have an [name_f]Etta[/name_f]! She’s 8 and I love that she’s the only [name_f]Etta[/name_f] in her school and that it’s classic and vintage, but not common. I wouldn’t use it though it you already have an [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
I looove Etta!! If you already have an [name_f]Ella[/name_f] then it’s a bit similar in my opinion, but [name_f]Ella[/name_f] and [name_f]Ettie[/name_f] sounds cool!
