I apologize for reposting, but our original thread disappeared into thin air. I think it might have been deleted, since it doesn’t show up on my profile anymore :frowning:

But anyway:

Thoughts on the name [name_f]Joya[/name_f] [name_f]Regina[/name_f]?

We chose the spelling [name_f]Joya[/name_f] over [name_f]Gioia[/name_f], because we think it won’t cause her as much spelling/pronunciation issues as [name_f]Gioia[/name_f] would.

She’ll join big brothers [name_u]Asa[/name_u] & [name_u]Milan[/name_u].

[name_f]Joya[/name_f] [name_f]Regina[/name_f] is cute but both names end with -a sound, and I don’t quite like it. Maybe you should find a mn that ends with a consonant or -e sound?

I find it very awkward to say aloud. Have you tried saying it aloud often?
