Opinions on Ilenia?

I pronounce Ilenia (ih-lehn-ee-ah)

I believe the name is Italian though for some reason when I look at it I think it appears Greek.
Any thoughts about it?

I’m currently pairing the name with the middle name [name_u]Carmen[/name_u] since my SO is Mexican I wanted to use a name more common in the Latino community. The nickname I would plan to use if I used it for a daughtet would be [name_f]Leni[/name_f] or [name_m]Len[/name_m]

Ilenia [name_u]Carmen[/name_u]

Reminds me of the word millennia! It’s nice. I don’t love how the I and l look the same in a san serif font right next to each other…

Ilenia is sweet!! It has flair and elegance!! [name_f]My[/name_f] friend is called Elenia and uses [name_m]Len[/name_m] as a nn so that definitely works too and I enjoy the warmth of Ilenia [name_u]Carmen[/name_u]

I thought it was ill-AY-nee-uh but I like the pronunciation you’ve written too. I think she’ll have to spell it for people often and endure mispronunciations, but it’s pretty, and it does sound lovely with Carmen! Nickname Leni is
