I think [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] sounds exceedingly arrogant, even sinister in a way. I keep picturing a wealthy villain in a fantasy series.
I have to agree, [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] sounds very harsh and feels very wicked step-sister -esque in nature for me. I’m not a fan.
[name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] sounds like a [name_m]Roman[/name_m] empress to me, so I’d put something latin and feminine next to it, my vote went to [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].
As for the name itself, I find it to be a bit harsh as a first name yet it would make for an interesting middle name.
I like [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] - I like softer sounding names usually but I do enjoy this. I voted [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] for a middle name, it helps soften it. I also like it with [name_f]Primrose[/name_f].
It sounds like a drug to me, I was instantly reminded of Lunesta (they have a lot of commercials at least where I am). I voted for [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] [name_f]Cecily[/name_f], but I prefer this combo flipped.
I think if you name your daughter [name_f]Lucasta[/name_f] she will be bullied because of her name. I would choose [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] for a first name
I didn’t get any evil vibes or anything when I heard this name. It just made me picture a middle-aged woman, that’s all. I voted for [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] as the middle name. And I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] would be a cute nickname for it.
