First and Foremost, thank you to everyone that posted in my thread about Middles for [name]Natalie[/name]! We still haven’t been able to narrow down the list too far, but do have a good solid list of ones we like, (not sure about love yet!) and would love to hear your opinions and ideas! Also, we’ve tossed another name onto the list for first names, and would love your opinions on middles for it too! [name]Feel[/name] free to suggest more names, remember, we are thinking Whimsical, so some of them are a bit out there, while some of them aren’t! (I’ll note which ones are for Family!) Last name is Z@ch@ruk, zah-car-uck. Also, do you think [name]Annika[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] would make a good sibset for sisters?
Pronounced [name]Ah[/name]-nicka, ([name]Andrew[/name] dislikes that [name]Ann[/name]-icka pronunciation) I love the rhythm that comes with an A first name, and an I or E middle!
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Eleanor[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Evelyn[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] Evolet
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Marigold[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Corisande[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Irene[/name] (My middle, and my grandmothers name)
I like [name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] as a sibset. I like [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] [name]Irene[/name] the best. They both flow really well and I like the family meanings. My mother’s middle name is [name]Jayne[/name] and I’m loving it more and more. It’s simple and plain, yet elegant and classic.
I like these best:
[name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name] [name]Margaux[/name]
[name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name]
Natalie Quinn
I like [name]Annika[/name] [name]Irene[/name] too. Personally, I prefer the [name]Natalie[/name] combinations over the [name]Annika[/name] ones (and I think I prefer the [name]ANN[/name]-ika pronunciation).
[name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] seem mismatched as a sibset. [name]Natalia[/name] would work better, I think - they are both exotic sounding. [name]Natalie[/name] is lovely, but is more of a classic sounding name, and would be well matched with something like [name]Hanna[/name] or [name]Annabelle[/name]…
You have some super cute middle names though!
I like [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name]. Very [name]Christmas[/name]-y. I also like [name]Annika[/name] Evolet.
You all aren’t making this easier haha, the responses are just as torn as I am. I am kind of saving the family names as fall-backs in case we can’t find the perfect whimsical middle. [name]Annika[/name] [name]Irene[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name] will be the mostly likely pair in that case!
In regards to ann-ika vs. ahn-ika, [name]Andrew[/name] would never go for [name]Ann[/name]-ika, he says it makes him think Anakin, as in Skywalker, which isn’t a bad reference, but we were thinking more Ahn-ika as in [name]Seven[/name] of Nine. /geek
I love [name]Natalia[/name], and it speaks to our cultural backgrounds better, but we just like [name]Natalie[/name] more for whatever reason. Which kind of sucks, because it’s much easier to find a middle for [name]Natalia[/name]. For some reason [name]Natalie[/name] feels cute and sweet to me, while [name]Natalia[/name], sounds like she could be announced on Pole number 3 alongside [name]Nadia[/name].
[name]Love[/name] [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] [name]Cadeau[/name] as a sibset so far! The combos really go well with eachother! Thanks Niteowl!
I love these names, separately or together! I like [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Quinn[/name]. For [name]Annika[/name], I think the only one that flows is [name]Annika[/name] [name]Marigold[/name].
[name]Natalie[/name] works best with your surname.
[name]Natalie[/name] [name]Jane[/name], [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Aurora[/name], [name]Natalie[/name] [name]Margaux[/name] all get my vote.
[name]Natalie[/name] is definitely the first choice, I’m just trying to figure out a top 3 first name and middle combinations with [name]Natalie[/name], [name]Annika[/name] and unknown name #3, but it’s so difficult, girls names are so hard for me!!! In the last year alone I’ve gone through at least 10 combos that I thought were ‘the ones’ until some time passed and the appeal faded.
and the list goes on! My taste doesn’t seem to stay in one place for long at all and never stays the same either. Pretty sure I’m not meant to name a daughter at this rate! I’m just hoping at least [name]Natalie[/name] sticks for a good long long time, (like, until I have an 18 year old [name]Natalie[/name]!) I’m already unsure about [name]Annika[/name]!
I think [name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Annika[/name] are a good sibling set. They have some of the same sounds (the a’s, n’s…). Also, both not out there, but not popular, common names either. I think either [name]Quinn[/name], [name]Vienna[/name], or [name]Valencia[/name] would all work with [name]Natalie[/name] and [name]Annika[/name].
