opinions on my favorite girl combos!!

I have six girl convos I love, the first four my favorites of the favorites! I’ll tell you guys why I love each name so you have a bit of an idea for meanings/etc but tell me what you really think of the names nicely.

top favorites -

[name_u]EMBER[/name_u] [name_u]LYNN[/name_u] ~ {[name_u]Ember[/name_u]} I heard ember while singing a praise and worship song. talking about God’s love being like Embers and turning into flames for us. hard to explain but it means a lot to me. {[name_u]Lynn[/name_u]} My middle name. My moms middle name. For sure going to use this.

[name_f]INDIE[/name_f] [name_f]MAE[/name_f] ~ {[name_f]Indie[/name_f]} I love the hippy style, country sound. I prefer just indie, but debate on [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] nn [name_f]Indi[/name_f]. {[name_f]Mae[/name_f]} [name_m]Just[/name_m] sweet and simple.

[name_u]BRINLEY[/name_u] [name_f]FAYE[/name_f] - {[name_u]Brinley[/name_u]} love the sound and country feel for me. {[name_f]Faye[/name_f]} not sure, just liked it.

[name_f]CORALIE[/name_f] [name_u]WREN[/name_u] - {[name_f]Coralie[/name_f]} I live near the beach. I love the coral reference!! {[name_u]Wren[/name_u]} [name_u]Love[/name_u] the nature name.

other favorites -

LOXLEY [name_f]ROSE[/name_f] - {Loxley} so spunky spunky spunky! Lox/Locks as a nn. {[name_f]Rose[/name_f]} just pretty.

[name_u]TEAGAN[/name_u] [name_f]ELIZABETH[/name_f] - {[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]} cute, country, and Teags (!!) so cute! {[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]} love it! runs in the family!

other ideas -

[name_f]ANNABELLE[/name_f] [name_f]JOY[/name_f] ‘[name_f]ANNIE[/name_f]’ - {[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]} just sweet and rustic. [name_f]Annie[/name_f] is sweet. {[name_f]Joy[/name_f]} part of my nana’s Middle name [name_u]Joyce[/name_u].

[name_u]SCOUT[/name_u] [name_f]ADELINE[/name_f] - {[name_u]Scout[/name_u]} TKAMB. Not sure about this one. {[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]} [name_m]Ad[/name_m]-uh-line. ?

What do you think of my options? What are some new suggestions so I can make new combos?

{btw also posting this for the boys favorites too}

  • [name_u]Shelby[/name_u]

Pretty names. [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is my favorite!

[name_u]EMBER[/name_u] [name_u]LYNN[/name_u] ~ [name_u]Ember[/name_u] is nms but hearing your reasoning for choosing it, I easily like it and would love to meet a mother who talks about the significance to her child’s name like that.

[name_f]INDIE[/name_f] [name_f]MAE[/name_f] ~ I agree with your description, [name_f]Indie[/name_f] and [name_u]Ember[/name_u] sound like a cute sibset! I think I may actually prefer [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] nn [name_f]Indie[/name_f] tho.

[name_u]BRINLEY[/name_u] [name_f]FAYE[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the nn [name_u]Bryn[/name_u]! Such a sweet name, and I love [name_f]Faye[/name_f] as well

[name_f]CORALIE[/name_f] [name_u]WREN[/name_u] - [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] was on my list as a full name for nn [name_f]Cora[/name_f]! I think the [name_f]Coral[/name_f] reference to the beach and the nature name wren are a nice connection.

other favorites -

LOXLEY [name_f]ROSE[/name_f] - I’m assuming you made this up? Normally I don’t like made-up sounding names, but this one I really do like! Lox is a cute nn, and uses the unusual letter ‘x’. My niece is [name_f]Layla[/name_f], and me and my sister call her Laylee as a pet-name and I absolutely love it; definitely not my style preference but its so sweet and casual! Laylee reminds me of Loxley, in a good way

[name_u]TEAGAN[/name_u] [name_f]ELIZABETH[/name_f] - I don’t really have an opinion on this name, I don’t dislike it but I don’t love it either?

other ideas -

[name_f]ANNABELLE[/name_f] [name_f]JOY[/name_f] ‘[name_f]ANNIE[/name_f]’ - I was considering adding this name to my list too, but with the [name_f]Annabel[/name_f] spelling.

[name_u]SCOUT[/name_u] [name_f]ADELINE[/name_f] - I have mixed feelings about this name and I think it mostly contributes to picturing a middle-aged woman with this name. I think this would be a sweet pet-name for a child, and honestly pet-names don’t have to come from the real name either. My niece as mentioned above is Laylee, Raspberry, [name_f]Razzy[/name_f], [name_u]Blue[/name_u], etc. [name_u]Scout[/name_u] could definitely fit.

All of your combos flow well! My favorites are [name_u]Brinley[/name_u] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u], and Loxley [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (somehow all of the ones with the -lee ending!)

I love [name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u]

[name_u]EMBER[/name_u] [name_u]LYNN[/name_u] ~ {[name_u]Ember[/name_u]} You have a winner here, look no further!

[name_f]INDIE[/name_f] [name_f]MAE[/name_f] ~ {[name_f]Indie[/name_f]} I would use [name_u]Indigo[/name_u] or [name_f]Indianna[/name_f] nn [name_f]Indi[/name_f]. {[name_f]Mae[/name_f]} OK, but [name_f]May[/name_f] is prettier.

[name_u]BRINLEY[/name_u] [name_f]FAYE[/name_f] - {[name_u]Brinley[/name_u]} Why am I thinking brindle cow? [name_m]How[/name_m] about Brynnlee? {[name_f]Faye[/name_f]} [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Fae[/name_f]? It means fairy.

[name_f]CORALIE[/name_f] [name_u]WREN[/name_u] - Not my fave.

other favorites -

LOXLEY [name_f]ROSE[/name_f] - {Loxley} Like Lox and bagels? Lox/Locks as a nn. {[name_f]Rose[/name_f]} just pretty.

[name_u]TEAGAN[/name_u] [name_f]ELIZABETH[/name_f] - {[name_u]Teagan[/name_u]} I really like it, but isn’t it mostly used for boys? {[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]} love it! runs in the family! Mine too!!

I love [name_u]Ember[/name_u] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] (beautiful reason behind [name_u]Ember[/name_u] btw), [name_f]Indie[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f] :).

Thank you!

[name_f]Coralie[/name_f] [name_u]Wren[/name_u] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]

[name_m]Just[/name_m] in reading what you wrote, I would say you sound most connected to [name_u]Ember[/name_u] [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. These just seemed closest to your heart. My dh and I put a lot of stock in what the name means and try to find a Bible verse to go with it for our children. Since you mentioned worship music and God’s love I thought that might appeal to you also.
