I also really like [name_f]Eliette[/name_f] (which is an ironic smushing of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Cosette[/name_f]!) I really donāt mind the nickname as a name trend, as you can tell from my choices of [name_f]Mila[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]! & No, I live in the southern part of the United States! We didnāt get what the northernersā definition of āa lotā is lol, but we got way more snow than we are used to getting.

But now that I know itās Cah-Lye-Oh-Pee I kind of like it! Better than [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]. [name_u]Wren[/name_u] is also lovely and perfect as a middle since [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] needs a short and simple middle.
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Alouette[/name_f] - Ahhh I love [name_f]Mila[/name_f]! One of my faves. However I dislike [name_f]Alouette[/name_f], and being [name_m]French[/name_m] I find it ridiculous as a name since all I can think about is the bird song. BUT if the song is unknown in your area, then Iām sure itās usable. Something about the -la ending and [name_m]Al[/name_m]- of mn sounds odd. Maybe [name_f]Jeannette[/name_f], [name_f]Suzette[/name_f], [name_f]Cosette[/name_f], [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Louisette[/name_f]?

@polina I do like [name_f]Elle[/name_f]/[name_f]Ella[/name_f], and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] but I really just like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] on itās own. I think nowadays it can stand by itself! I just think of [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] Goulding, and how itās wearable for her even as an adult. Also, [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Alouette[/name_f] is pretty, just a little TOO [name_m]French[/name_m], if that makes sense!
[name_f]Mila[/name_f] is the favorite, apparently! Itās my favorite off the list too, and my boyfriendās favorite! [name_u]Sage[/name_u] would be the more realistic middle name for us for [name_f]Mila[/name_f], but I just really adore the combo [name_f]Mila[/name_f] [name_f]Alouette[/name_f]! The whole double L thing doesnāt bother me because the L sounds are a little different- miLA aLOUette. See what I mean?
Anyway, [name_f]Esme[/name_f]/[name_f]Ismay[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] probably would not be an option for us, because my boyfriend simply doesnāt like it. He isnāt a fan super girly, or super manly names, so [name_f]Esme[/name_f] [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] is too much frill for him. I still love it thought! He also doesnāt like [name_f]Calliope[/name_f] because he couldnāt pronounce it at first, and he has vetoed everything he canāt pronounce right off the bat (which is why my beloved [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is no longer on our list. Sigh.)
