What are your thoughts on my list? What do they remind you of, and what mental images do they give you? Combinations, suggestions and advice would be much appreciated! Thank you.
I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Faye[/name_f], and [name_m]Leo[/name_m].
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] is also interesting and nice.
I’m not super fond of [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u] feels a little feminine especially with [name_m]Ross[/name_m] (I first read it as [name_f]Rose[/name_f]), but none of them are terrible. I like your unique middles.
I love your boys names, especially [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and [name_u]Avery[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] are great combinations. I’m not too fond of the middle names for [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] but if they have significance to you then I understand.
I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. Tolkien is not my style but I don’t have anything against people using guilty pleasure names as middle names. But I think that you could find a better middle name for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is not my style but its a fine name. I think [name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] is a very refreshing combination.
[name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] - unisex? thumbs up
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] is such a brutish wild name, pretty cool
[name_m]Cedric[/name_m] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] - a wel mannered young man
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Denis[/name_m] - swarthy tan, builder
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Tolkien - alice in wonderland and LOTR, sort of delicate and tinkly sounding
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] - [name_f]Faye[/name_f] is ok, indiana is bleh
[name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m]- I prefer [name_u]Avery[/name_u] on a girl.
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m]- I think I like this. [name_m]How[/name_m] do you pronounce [name_u]Rohan[/name_u]? Like [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_f]Ro[/name_f]-HAHN. I went to school with an [name_f]Indian[/name_f] boy who pronounced it like that.
[name_m]Cedric[/name_m] [name_m]Hale[/name_m]- [name_f]Love[/name_f] it.
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Denis[/name_m]- Would this be pronounced the [name_m]French[/name_m] way, [name_m]Den[/name_m]-ee? Either way, I like it.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] Tolkien- [name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f], Tolkien is growing on my.
[name_f]Faye[/name_f] [name_u]Indiana[/name_u]- I like [name_f]Fay[/name_f] better. [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] is too [name_u]Indiana[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m].
@rowgeesee - I would pronounce [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] as ro-HAHN. [name_m]Denis[/name_m] is pronounced like [name_m]Dennis[/name_m] (it’s a family name).
None of them are completely my style but I do really like them!
[name_u]Avery[/name_u] is a cool name for a boy and I’m glad it’s so unique in the UK that nobody knows if it’s a boy or girl name! [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] is cool but is very close to [name_u]Avery[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], which could be pretty common in the US?!
[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] [name_m]William[/name_m] and [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] [name_m]Hale[/name_m] are so quirky!
I like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] but not keen on [name_m]Denis[/name_m].
I could imagine brothers named [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] & [name_u]Avery[/name_u] but I don’t think [name_m]Leo[/name_m] fits that well. I think that’s because it’s like trendy/modern in the UK.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] & [name_f]Faye[/name_f] are lovely, and fit perfectly with [name_u]Rohan[/name_u], [name_m]Cedric[/name_m] & [name_u]Avery[/name_u].
