[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]
[name_m]Young[/name_m] ?
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m]
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]
Anyone???
well, not really my type of names. I do like [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] but not with [name_m]Mark[/name_m]. [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is a cool name but I guess most people would assume it’s a girl and not a boy (the fact that more people would acept giving a girl a “typical” boy’s name to a girl is acceptable but the other way around would cause the boy to be teased and ridiculed is so sad).
[name_m]Drake[/name_m] is cool too (means dragon in my language), as a mn
Oh you’re new here. Haha
Yeah, I love names that were originally boy names that have been taken over by girls. And all the middle names are family names. Ha
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] - [name_m]David[/name_m] is too plain and I despise [name_m]Walter[/name_m]
[name_m]Young[/name_m] ? - I don’t think this name will age well - pardon the pun…
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] - I think it flows well but I feel like [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] moved to the girls side because I would assume it was a girl.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] - [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is pure girl for me. [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] is a nice middle name
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] - I like this one alright. [name_m]Drake[/name_m] just makes me think of the rapper though.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] - Another one that is all girl. [name_m]Mark[/name_m] makes a good middle.
Sorry!
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] - Solid name. I adore [name_m]David[/name_m], love the nicknames [name_m]Dax[/name_m] and [name_m]Davy[/name_m].
[name_m]Young[/name_m] - I cannot picture this as a name.
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] - I prefer [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] on a boy/man. [name_m]Mack[/name_m] would make a spunky nickname.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] - not fond of either
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] - [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] has been growing on me. My favorite combo.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] - not fond of either
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]- I’ve never liked [name_m]David[/name_m] but mostly because I can’t seem to meet someone nice with the name.
[name_m]Young[/name_m]- Maybe as a middle name, but I see too much teasing potential
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m]- [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] is something that should be used for boys more often. I love [name_m]Ross[/name_m]
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]! [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is all girl to me though
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m]- [name_u]Love[/name_u]! I love [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] (hot guy in my school) and [name_m]Drake[/name_m] is a strong middle
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]- You are the reason I can see [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] as a boy’s name. I used to think you were crazy but it’s really growing on me. [name_m]Mark[/name_m] is nice, I like the biblical connection.
I like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] (more [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] than [name_m]Drake[/name_m], but combo is nice), [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] (love [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a man!), and [name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] (safer, but handsome).
Not a big fan of [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] or [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] personally. Are you considering [name_m]Young[/name_m] as a first name? I’m not opposed to it as a name, but I think it would be better in the middle.
I think I’d use [name_m]Young[/name_m] as a middle. But I cant find a good middle name for it… Or first name, even.
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m] - While I don’t particularly love [name_m]David[/name_m], I feel like [name_m]Walter[/name_m] fits really nicely with it. It’s a nice combination.
[name_m]Young[/name_m] ? - I saw that you wanted this as a middle name, I would suggest something a little non-surname-y like [name_m]Henry[/name_m], [name_m]Edward[/name_m], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], etc.
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] - I love seeing [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] on boys! I was supposed to be a [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], had I been a boy. I find all the comments about [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] being ‘all girl’ a bit silly though, since, personally, I’ve met 4 boys named [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], and two girls, but, both girls go by [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u], by choice. (I’m 19, by the way). [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] seems pretty well accepted here as a name that goes either way - boys are often [name_m]Mack[/name_m] for short, girls are generally [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]. [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m] is a great combination - very Scottish sounding, actually.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u] - I actually know a little boy named [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] - it suits him perfectly! He’s probably about 4/5 (his little sister is [name_u]Collins[/name_u]), and his mum once told me that she chose it because it was a family maiden name, and that, really, she and her husband didn’t care if he was mistaken for a girl, because it would only happen once and then people would know otherwise. I think [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] pairs well with [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u], it really adds some oomph to the name!
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] - I love the name [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], it’s amazing. I started liking it because of this sweet little boy I worked with at a work placement for college - he’s exactly how I’d picture a little [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], actually! Sweet, adventurous, clever, cheeky and protective of everyone, he’s a lovely kid. While I don’t really like [name_m]Drake[/name_m], I think [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m] is very handsome - I don’t really think of the rapper though.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] - I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] on a boy. I actually adore it on a boy, if I’m honest. Again, in my area, it’s anything but feminine, I’ve met one [name_f]Aubree[/name_f], and a handful of male [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]'s, maybe because I live near the area that the rapper, [name_m]Drake[/name_m] grew up in, and originally, he got his start acting here, under his legal given name - [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Graham[/name_m] ([name_m]Drake[/name_m] is his middle name). I think he sort of helps to boost the masculinity here anyways, and [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m] is a wonderful combination.
I really love your list, if I’m honest. I’d ignore the ‘pure girl’ comments though, I know those people are trying to help, but, as someone who loves [name_u]Addison[/name_u], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] and [name_u]Emerson[/name_u] on boys - I don’t see the pure girl thing as an issue. Those names were all originially surnames, or masculine names anyways, so why can’t they be used on boys?
I like [name_m]Drake[/name_m] best from your list. A lot of the others are more girl names to me and even though its a double standard, I’m not a fan of unisex names for boys.
[name_m]David[/name_m] [name_m]Walter[/name_m]: Nice, classic name choice.
[name_m]Young[/name_m] ?: As a first name, it reminds me too much of rappers.
[name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] [name_m]Ross[/name_m]: I like it, especially if [name_m]Mac[/name_m] was a nn. [name_m]Mac[/name_m] is so handsome sounding.
[name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] [name_u]Lawrence[/name_u]: Very nice! Also some great nn options- [name_m]Cas[/name_m], [name_m]Sid[/name_m], and [name_u]Cal[/name_u]
[name_m]Harrison[/name_m] [name_m]Drake[/name_m]: I slightly prefer the flow of [name_m]Drake[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], but it’s great either way.
[name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m]: I prefer the flow of [name_m]Mark[/name_m] [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] over [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u] [name_m]Mark[/name_m], but I still think it works. Honestly, I think Aubi/Auby would be a really cute nn for a little boy.
