[name_f]My[/name_f] thoughts on your list

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] ~ this name was never really my cup of tea but my best friend adored [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and since his passing I have begun to really appreciate [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. She’s elegant, lyrical, smart and distinguished.

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] ~ clunky cool and packed with nostalgic charm. She’s so endearing and feels warm. I also like the nickname [name_f]Aggie[/name_f].

[name_f]Calista[/name_f] ~ very romantic and melodic. She’s sweet and has a beautiful meaning ‘most beautiful’ she feels very princess! I also like [name_f]Callie[/name_f] as a nickname.

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] ~ a strong biblical classic that feels graceful and has a melodic sound. She’s strong and feminine really timeless.

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] ~ fun, energetic and joyful. [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] has a country feel she would definitely be mucking out the stables and tending the flowers such a fun name.

[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] ~ a pretty delicate nickname choice that feels wind swept and has lovely rural pebbled beach imagery attached.

This literally made me sigh with relief and sing with joy. I love all of your interpretations of my favourites, and it makes me love them even more. I’m so sorry about your friend and it’s so special that it’s the reason you love [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]. I hope you are well! Thank you so much!

[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] is so beautiful, i’m sure your friend loves it☺️

I think if he was still around he would have! 🩵

  1. [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] → clunky cute and floral
  2. [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] → quirky and sweet and literary
  3. [name_f]Calista[/name_f] - bright and musical
  4. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] → solid, sweet, and elegant with spark too
  5. [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] → rugged but pretty, breezy and cool but cosy
  6. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] → sweet, warm and sassy
  7. [name_u]Everly[/name_u] → nice enough, on trend and flows nicely

  9. [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] → mystical and cool but grounded too - but very tied to LotR (could be a good thing?)
  10. [name_f]Inez[/name_f] → international and zippy but with elegance and style too - can be pronounced differently and spelled differently

I love to see [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] on your list! [name_f]Agnes[/name_f] is a very sweet, captivating, powerful and resplendent name. It feels warm, amiable and gracious. Agnes’s variant [name_f]Inez[/name_f] is simple and beautiful. I’m very familiar with the Portuguese/ Spanish spelling [name_f]Ines[/name_f] which is a very popular and traditional choice. Similarly, [name_f]Inez[/name_f] also feels elegant, timeless and regal.
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f] are bright, sparkling and energetic.
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] is lovely, more serious, but gentle and peaceful.
[name_f]Calista[/name_f] sounds enchanting, mysterious and dazzling. I adore its uniqueness. It makes me think about astrology and mythology for some reason, perhaps for its similarity to [name_f]Callisto[/name_f] and [name_u]Calypso[/name_u]. Calista’s meaning is amazing! [name_f]Callie[/name_f] could be a cool and familiar nickname for [name_f]Calista[/name_f], if she wants to have a shorter or more common alternative name.
[name_u]Everly[/name_u] is vivacious, friendly and jovial. It has various interesting nicknames: [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_u]Ever[/name_u], [name_f]Evie[/name_f], [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], [name_f]Viv[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f]!
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] would be perfect for an adventurous, mighty and artistic girl/woman. The name [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] is poetic, exquisite and brave.
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] and [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] are pretty and charming. I prefer them as nicknames, but they’re definitely very well-established names.

[name_f]My[/name_f] top 3 from your list is [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_u]Everly[/name_u] and [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. [name_f]Inez[/name_f] would be my next choice!

I love your style of names!
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites from your list would be [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Calista[/name_f], [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]

[name_f]Lovely[/name_f] list! [name_f]My[/name_f] top 3 would be [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], and [name_f]Inez[/name_f].

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - I like this. It’s sweet and pretty, but smart and solid as well.

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - LOVE this! It would be so sweet on a little girl.

[name_f]Calista[/name_f] - a little bit dreamy, but grounded still.

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - one of my all-time favourites.

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] - oh, I like this, thanks to the film When [name_f]Marnie[/name_f] Was There. It’s cute and spirited.

[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] - I like this as a nickname (for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], for example) but it does stand well on its own.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] - it’s bright and fresh and full of energy.

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - classy and classic, it’s a perfect choice.

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] - I like the sound and general feel of this - the middle “w” is fun.

[name_f]Inez[/name_f] - a neat, distinctive choice, with a burst of energy thanks to the final z.

you have a lovely naming style

daphne - i love how the characters in scooby doo and bridgerton really help the wearability of this name ! it’s one i personally really want to love - it has a unique sound and standout quality but not unheard of

agnes - she’s really grown on me ! nickname ‘aggie’ is so sweet, i hope to see her used more

calista - an adventurous and strong name - i like calista !

lydia - another that has really grown on me, lydia has this powerful fantasy queen vibe, but very classic and familiar

marnie - oh marnie :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: i love the studio ghibli association of course, she travels well and has a familiar vintage sound, and an -ie ending that doesn’t come off too cutesy

maisie - i find this name very sweet and has an appealing sound, i do think she’s going to rise in popularity though, if that’s something u’d prefer to avoid

everly - according to the stats this is very popular, maybe only in the states as i’ve never met one  this name has such a melodious sound and a friendly vibe, a nice modern take on emily

elena - classic and pleasant, elena has a few pronunciations but i don’t think people would get confused

arwen - very elegant, fantasy feeling name :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: a simple, rememberable sound and -wen ending that always evokes a princess vibe to me

inez - super fun, the -z spelling really makes it pop  i believe there also may be more than one main pronunciation with inez, just to note !

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - I’d say I like it, it has a lot of nice qualities, it’s cute but also feels smart and professional

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f] - Falls somewhere in-between so dorky it’s cool and genuinely cool for me? Idk there’s just something kinda endearing about it and I like the nickname [name_f]Aggie[/name_f]

[name_f]Calista[/name_f] - I’m personally a bit conflicted but I see why other people might like it

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - Not really my own style but I feel very positively towards it because of someone I know. It’s definitely a good name and I like seeing others use it!

[name_f]Marnie[/name_f] - Sorta cool, not something I particularly love but there’s nothing wrong with it. I would probably assume it was a nickname for something else though

[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] - I used to kinda dislike it because it felt sort of weird and childish to me, but it’s been growing on me much more lately

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] - [name_u]Eh[/name_u], not my favorite, I’m generally not a huge fan of modern sounding names like this. I do love [name_u]Beverly[/name_u] though so I’m not completely sure what it is about it I don’t like?

[name_f]Elena[/name_f] - Very pretty and has a fun, friendly vibe. Definitely classic for a good reason

[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] - Not really my thing but I wouldn’t say I dislike it. I seem to remember someone saying it was invented for lotr (?) in which case I might like it less on an actual person. That being said though, I probably wouldn’t have made the connection if it hadn’t been brought up

[name_f]Inez[/name_f] - I’ve just recently realized how much I like this one, it’s one of those names that’s short but feels like it has a lot of depth. It has a nice balance of being kinda cute, kinda elegant, and kinda just cool

I like all of these (although I like the [name_f]Callista[/name_f] spelling better).

Is there any male names simlar to Inez/Ines, because I heard of a baby boy with a similar name (pronounced something like in-niss/in-ness)

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Calista[/name_f], [name_f]Lydia[/name_f], and [name_f]Elena[/name_f]!

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Arwen[/name_f], and [name_f]Inez[/name_f] just aren’t my personal style.

Marniw and [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] feel too cutesie and nickname based for me.

[name_u]Everly[/name_u] is too popular and overdone right now for me.

Is [name_m]Innes[/name_m] the name you’re thinking about?

I think so. Thanks.
