Suggestions also welcome I love names that don’t connotate economic class, but are mellifluous and romantic. It’s hard for me to find all of that in one name.
Delightful!
No, none of them are any of the negative things you just said. There is a good reason as to why they’ve all been popular at certain points in time; they’re timeless, elegant, and absolutely darling.
I have good associations with each of the names, even though I haven’t met someone with all of them. They just evoke such wonderful imagery without coming off as pretentious.
Although you’ve probably already had these suggestions in the past, here are some similar names that I would also group with these. It seems you need boys names more, so I’ll focus first on them.
Julia: feels like a classic natural beauty.
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]: it’s my sisters name who’s almost 28 so it’s weird to hear it on a baby but it feels timeless.
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]: simple in a good way.
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]: pure and sweet!
Daniel: strong classic, common but I really like it.
[name_m]Alexander[/name_m]: one of my favorite boy names! It has good nickname options but I prefer it in full!
Thank you!! Beautiful list. I particularly love [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u], [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_u]George[/name_u], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] for boys. For girls, I am drawn to [name_f]Stella[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
I’m in the US, and I’m guessing you’re in the UK, but all of these feel like very normal names that would be wearable on anyone of any social station or walk of life. [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] as a full name with no nicknames does feel a little formal/posh, but it has so many accessible nicknames that it’s totally not too posh.
