Hi i posted this a couple hours ago but im puttinf it up again to see if i can get other peoples thoughts. Im in love with the name draco and wanted to see what people thought about it?
Reminds me of Dracula but apart from that [name_m]Draco[/name_m] has quite a nice ring to it
I like it, but its too connected to [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] for me. I instantly think of Malfoy and I think other people would too. As a name I think it has a nice sound, the -o ending is on-trend & the meaning of “dragon” is pretty cool.
It has too much connection to [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] for me. Maybe as a middle name?
I really don’t like it, sorry. At best, it’s related to the [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] character meant to represent all manner of prejudices, or a fantasy kind of name taking place in the Middle Ages. Why name a kid Dragon?
If you like the sound, or the edginess of it, I might suggest:
- Arlo
- Milo
- Marlow
- Paolo
- etc
I don’t love it… just [name_m]Drake[/name_m] is much better imo
It’s completely connected to [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] in my opinion. I think it would be a lifetime of people calling him “Malfoy” and hearing jokes like “my father will hear about this.”
Reminds me of Malfoy right away
It has a nice sound though I do prefer [name_m]Drake[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] first thought with [name_m]Draco[/name_m] is the song Blueberry Faygo as it is mentioned in the chorus; a draco is a type of weapon. It’s referenced in other rap/hip hop songs, though I’m sure this is not most people’s first thought. I also think of HP.
Don’t like it. Reminds me of [name_m]Draco[/name_m] from [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m]
I think of [name_m]Draco[/name_m] from HP too which isn’t necessarily bad, but when I see it written all I can see is draconian!
Not my style but i did consider it for a pet.
I like the name but as others have said it is too tied to [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m] for me to consider it (especially with all of JK’s nonsense atm). I prefer Drayce which has the same meaning and very similar sound, and which is more unusual than suggested variant [name_m]Drake[/name_m] (which makes me think of ducks also).
